I have said before, I would love to talk 1-2-1 with everyone but time does no permit, so I use amplification just like they do at concerts or other large events to convey a message. I never said nor do I belive I am above anyone. Is a person who has survived cancer better than someone who has not? ANSWER- NO! Pokey, hello. I cant answer all your questions in one box so I will try to answer it in several. I can understand your concerns for me to find more constructive ways to talk to people. I also hope to satisfy you with my explanation of why I did not want to talk to that guy "eye-to eye". First off, why preach on a soap box as opposed to talking face to face? Well, I regularly take several hours on weekends every month to talk to people face to face at malls and other large places.

But I also take time to preach for several reasons. #1 Jesus preached to large crowds and so did Paul the Apostle. Jesus also commanded his followers to do the same Mark 16:15. Second, Its so urgent that everyone hears the message because from a christian perspective those who have not believed are in danger and need to be warned and given the information that can help them escape the danger. The simple anology from a theological perspective is that many dont even realize the danger.

The anolgy would be to imagine a large group of people who are blind and are walking toward a 1000 foot cliff drop. Without proper warning they will all die. Do you (a) try to warn each one eye to eye, or (b) get to a spot where all can hear you and plead with them and reason with them of the impending danger? I choose B. I am not saying that everyone in line was in fact heading to hell, I could never know unless I was God, but Matt 7 teaches most people dont go to heaven.

Many people are going to die in there sins like I once was until I heard the good News, so without knowing who in line is saved and who is not I just indiscriminatly proclaim the message of "The Gospel" with the hope that those who are heading toward destruction will hear and believe. Our Christian faith hinges on a MESSAGE. Its a message that can either be believed unto salvation or denied unto destruction. So as a christian the most loving thing I can do is procalime the message that saves.

WHY DID I NOT SPEAK EYE TO EYE. WAS I UNDER THE IMPRESSION I WAS ABOVE OR BETTER THAN OTHERS. I did not want to speak eye to eye for several reasons. But let me first say in the past I was once outside a spanish Rock Concert in Anaheim and I was preaching to people who were exiting the concert when a man approached me to ask questions. His demeanor was inquiring and he seemed genuinly interested in talking. I wrestled internally with talking to this one man at the expense of the multitude.

I discerned in my spirit that this was what God wanted me to do at that moment, so I felt led of the Lord to talk to Him and I got of the rail I was on to speak eye to eye with him. We had a great conversation. So why did I not do the same at Pride Fest? Well, I never felt led by God to talk to that man 1-2-1. listen to what he says in the video again and you will see the part where the truth comes out and he just wanted me to be quiet and stop preaching.

I do believe that when the Gospel is proclaimed a spiritual battle is taking place where bye some people can be used by the enemy of your soul to try and silence the preaching of the Good News so that no one hears. Or to distract others from listening to the message. This is why I need to trust God to give me discernment to know when to stop or when to continue and ignor a distraction of the enemy. I percieved in my heart that he was just trying to distract me.

Do note that I dont bleieve that the man was "the enemy" but that he was used like a puppet somewhat to do the work for a evil spirit. I once was not a believer until I heard this message and something in me believed it was true, I once wrestled with that decision to follow Christ or continue in my rebelion against God. Sometimes I stand in front of large crowds and I think (maybe just maybe one person in line is really listening! and truly maybe someone is, and for that person all the redicule in the world is worth it! So that they like I can come to know just how much God can love a miserable sinner like me to the point where God would be willing to suffer and die for the things I have done so that the judgement / punishment I deserve would be satisfied by God Himself suffering for me! A lot of people just don't believe everything in the Bible is true though (including that homosexuality is a sin, if it does say that). So in that case, trying to prove the Bible says a certain thing is a moot point.

Hello! Its me, the preacher on the soap box. I just want all of y to know that I did not single out the LGBT pride fest. I actually just like preaching anywhere people gather. I have gone to the LA Marathon several times, also the LA, riverside, and S.B. Fair Grounds to preach to the people waiting in line, also Venice Beach, Huntington Peir and many other events that draw a crowed. So just know that I did not single you out because your gay. I was drawn to the event because of the crowed.

One other point I would like to make. When I decided to preach at Pride Fest I was determined not to speak about homosexuality unless I was asked. I do take a biblical stance on that sin and I do not agree with Homosexuality but I choose not to bring the subject up. Your own people are the ones who tried to pin me in the corner and get me to speak about homosexuality while I was preaching. I would have rather spoke about other sins such as stealing, lying, lust, murder etc. So dont blame me.

Watch Video 2 and you will see how the people at pride fest bring up the subject of LGBT. Not me! Also, If you listen carefully to what I am saying I never pass judgement on any of you. Yep, thats right, listen carefully. I never point out anyone and say your condemned. Rather, all I was doing is just declare to everyone what the bible says. I am simplying sharing the judgemnt that God has already passed concerning different sins. Its not mine to judge. Think about what I am saying.

So many people think I am judging them. If some guy comitted murder would I be judging him if I said he was a murderer? Certainly not because I am simply stating the truth - by definition a murderer is someone who commits murder. a preacher is somone who preaches. A thief is someone who has stolen. When i preach i simply state "IF you lie that makes you a liar." So is that judging or just declaring truth? Its declaring truth that may or may not apply to you, right?..!

Anyways, why do people who claim not to believe anything the bible says get so hostile when someone is preaching? If you dont believe it then it should not bother you! But I am convinced that deep down God is speaking to their hearts through the preacher, and they know its truth but they hate it and they hate God therfore when they hear it they get angry. 4 years ago I repented and trusted Jesus who is God in the flesh of a man.

Well, I'm not sure how reliable the statistics I've read are, but what I read is that both lesbiens and homosexuals are more depressed, use drugs more, and are more promiscous than the average heterosexual. I'd be interested to know how many lesbiens have actually lived out a 100% lifelong monogomous relationship.

That's good...I wasn't very promiscuous and stopped using drugs years ago, but my main problem still was that I was under the wrath of God.

Not just for being attracted to other women, but for being a liar, a thief, a blasphemer, and everything else you could imagine.

Jesus said "unless ye repent ye shall all likewise perish."(Luke 13:5)

The word for 'repent' is "metanoeō", which means to think differently or reconsider.

I didn't have to stop myself from being attracted to other women to be saved, I just had to realize that I was indeed a sinner, that Jesus died for that sin as well as all my other sins, and that He rose again on the third day. Then I had to trust Him. I did trust Him enough to obey Him when He said He had better for me.

All I'm saying is that we don't say things against homosexuality because we are trying to hurt people or condemn them, we say it because we know that if they don't acknowledge that it is sin, they can't be saved. We always think we're living liberated, doing what we please, but we're really in bondage until Jesus sets us free. There's no other way I can explain this.
