Actually, that first part isn't impossible. If you're on Medium, you can shoot the save block and then when you reload the spike trap won't spawn. On a harder difficulty you have to drop down to that level slightly and then double jump back up a floor. Then jump down and run like a madman.

The Alternate route is easy,you just jump at the lowest point possible so that the spikes don't kill you instantly on the second jump giving you time to jump to the 3rd one.
