  • QUESTION ABOUT THE MEDICAL EXAM: Do i need to schedule my appointment? or Do i just get to this hospital in the morning get in line and wait? Where do you pay for this medical exam? Do you need to pay in advance? or you pay directly in the hospital with cash or card?

  • @fersen77 You don't have to schedule your appointment for the medical in Juarez, you just go there in the morning and wait. You pay for the medical exam after it's done and I don't remember the exact price but it's somewhere around USD 186 and you can pay directly in the clinical in cash or credit card. Good luck!

  • Thank you, you gave me some peace of mind. We really appreciate it.

  • I LOVE YOUR VIDEO MY WIFE HAS HER INTERVIEW ON THE 3RD OF FEV AND THE WHOLE FAMILY IS GOING MY MY 2 DAUGHTERS MY WIFE AND ME. WE ARE SUPER NERVES. WE LIVE IN LOS ANGELES SO I GUESS HER INTERVIEW IS GOING TO BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT. WHAT HOTEL DO YOU RECOMEND CAUSE WE MIGHT BE STAYING IN JUAREZ FOR A COUPLE OF DAY. AND MONEY WISE HOW MUCH SHOULD WE TAKE .

  • About the DS-156 you stated to bring two. would that be the original and a copy?!

  • @adriam24 2 originals, both have to contain your original signature.

  • @karolandin Thank you Karol :)

  • Hi I loved your video it was helpful to my husband who is about to do this.. I am very nervous about being in juarez.. My question is where do the spouses of the applicant wait? Inside the building or how does it work?

  • @Utgirl19 I am happy it helped!! Relax, I was very nervous about being in Cd. Juárez too but everything went fine, there are a bunch of hotels nearby and you don't really have to go outside of the area... When the applicants do the medical, there is a special area for the spouses to wait, it could take a while, so be prepared. But at the consulate, there is no assigned area, the spouses are not even allowed inside the building; (cont... below)

  • @Utgirl19 .... you could stay outside and wait (but I think it is not necessary), I went with my mom, she went back to the hotel and I met her there after I was done. Everything is very close and he won't get lost... Believe me, it is a lot easier than I thought. Good luck!

  • your video helped a lot:) thanks for sharing! well i live here in the u.s and my lawyer told me i have to go to juarez for 3 to 6 months but i dont understand how fast you got it do you think ill get it fast? im kinda scared ive never been to mexico lol

  • @rosa24ism I'm glad it helped!!!! ;) Are you applying for a K1??? I'm not sure you are, maybe if you already live there it would be slightly different, Juarez is kinda scary -I'm not going to lie, it has a bad reputation-, but if you don't go out at night or by yourself you'll be fine... You've never been to Mexico??? How is that?

  • Thank you for the information it was very helpful. For the DS-156 when I try to fill it out it ask for the country but mexico is not on the list that is why i was confused, so do i put United States?

  • @imabeyond Hey i had that same issue, but there is a link that actually works. It is on the PDF packet on the CDJ website. That link does take you to the DS-156. It is the first link on the second page of the PDF document. Good luck!

  • I have a question did you have too translate your birth certificate from Spanish to English, and also did you have to file form DS-156? Its very confusing i don't understand that form? Thanks for the help in advance!!

  • @imabeyond No, I didn't have to translate my birth certificate, you don't have to translate any documents unless they are not in English or Spanish, any of those languages is fine. You do have to fill out form DS - 156, why don't you understand it? It's just basic information about you and your arrival to the US :) If you have specific questions about it, let me know¡¡¡ :D

  • Great review! It would be wonderful if could do a much briefer video in Spanish that I could send to my fiance. :) Just an idea. But I know this took a lot of effort. Thanks so much!

  • @meadowzephyr I'm glad it was helpful!!! I've been thinking of doing one in Spanish too, maybe I'll do it... Thanks!
