Why do the bosses here look different in the Arcade version?

these 2 are the easiest boss in Crisis Zone. I didn't lost even one life in this stage in my first playthrough but lost to the tank in the Zone 1.

Its a thing with Light Gun games. The screen always flashes white when a shot is fired but since this game uses a machine gun, the screen flashes white at a very fast rate giving it that white look.

The screen isn't flashing in this game, the screen's brightness is turned up when the gun is fired in the form of a white smoke. Light guns gets a better read of the screen when there is high contrast between dark and light areas.

Very good smackdown on Tiger and Edgey. I remember these guys in the arcade version. Both of them were a pain, but Edgey is the worst of them. Easily the hardest boss in the game.
