They came thru chicago in the awa. I went to every match i could, tho they were short lived - like 1 to 1 1/2 years. But every 3 to 4 weeks, we got in line and watched. Then again I went to watch Crusher and Bruiser, too. Awesome doesnt describe either tag team. They both are legends of their respective generations. And I will never see a tag team come close to either. Hawk, Dick the Bruiser, and Crusher, RIP. Animal, stay tough! Loved watching all of you guys!

Love the look of the old NWA National Tag Team Title belts! The Brisco's actually came to town to defend the NWA World Tag Titles in Atlanta against Hawk and Animal. Wonder what happened in the match? Probably a Doube DQ.

The Spoiler and King Kong Bundy were part of the original Legion of Doom, also.

It was a short period of time but they were the original along with Jake and the Warriors. It was an awesome faction that has been overlooked. Later Bundy turned on the Warriors and teamed with ronnie garvin to win the national tag titles from the warriors. This was when wrestling was really good and the house shows were nice.

@oldschoolfan420 Bundy wasn't a member of the L.O.D. GCW flirted the deal for weeks - and Ellering did appear with Bundy, but he was never named a member. They ran an angle where Solie was asking Ellering about the big man and, thinking the microphone was off, Paul went on some tangent about Bundy not being worthy of membership; calling him a 'fat slob' in comparison to the mighty Road Warriors. Of course Bundy hears the conversation, attacks Ellering, then fails prey to a Roadie beat down.

The only other time I've heard Hawk & Animal speaking like this was in shoot interviews out of character. The great thing about this was that it seemed ad-libbed, unrehearsed & unscripted.
