Things change over time when and where there is a need for change. The foundational concept can be proven in less than 1 day in a lab, and is supported by millions of variants of a species as it is found in different environs.

Through natural selection we gain traits to help us survive, and get rid of traits we no longer need. Just look at your appendix, do you use it anymore? im not sure what the difference between a theory and a scientific theory is... maybe one is from a scientist the other some average person. but clearly you're unaware of why a theory is not a law. a law can be proven by evidence. whereas a theory has some aspects that can not be confirmed. i'm not saying evolution isnt real. i'm saying it is a theory, whether you like it or not, it will never be proven as the laws of evolution.
