Funny reviews. You confirmed my suspicions about "War Horse". Most liked "Hugo", but I find Scorecese's romanticizing of silent films (which were all decent at best, and Melies' in particular were simply awful) very annoying. I love the guy and his taste in cinema is generally impeccable ("A Journey Through American Films with Martin Scorecese") except for that.
1. Didn't watch any new ones.
2. Nothing too bad; I generally tell people to stop, and they do.
2)During Being John Malcovich the projector was all f'ed during most of the film. Part of the time the projector was aimed too low or something and you could see boom mics at the top of the frame. I have never seen or heard of anything like it before. For another part of the film the picture gave out and we watched a black screen with dialogue for 10 minutes. No refunds!
2.Watching Burn After Reading with a few 14 year olds sitting right in front of me, talking non stop and throwing popcorn around, and they didn't even care, a lot of people stood up and yelled at them, and they just laughed it off, where's Lars von Trier when you need him, I really wanted to throw my nachos at them, but they were so damn delicious!
