Izzy Stradlin/ jeff Isbell is the most underated guitarist ever. Slash was by far the best guitarist on the Strip at the time but you can't forget that Izzy made a lot of the song's melodies and was one of the persons Slash hung out with the most in the group even if it wasn't the person he liked the most. I agree, it needs the second guitar, it needs Izzy!

Slash is what Guns N' Roses was and is supposed to be. He never tried to manipulate or "evolve" Guns like Axl did. And even when Axl shifted GNR in a new direction Slash Izzy and Duff held on but in the end it was Axl that destroyed GNR. Yeah he may have the voice of GNR but Slash has the music and as far as i'm concerned Axl is singing acapella when he's out there performing with his puppets "musicians" that will do anything he says.

And if you go after facts and read and research all the band's history, you'll reach the other side of the coin, where Slash left the band with opportunism after taking all the band's fame, even when he was almost nothing but an image that earned fame through Axl and Izzy's songs and solos(Yes, Izzy playied, for exemple, solos is Estranged and Slash took all the fame)... Slash's not a hero, he was caught in contradition a lot of times.

Axl is a tremendous talent for sure, but he lives on his own plane of existence that is just fuckin ponderous and annoying as a fan. Give me Myles Kennedy any day, a vocal/guitar/songwriting master who just shows up and does the job. He'll not only have a long career with AB, Slash and whoever else, but also the respect of the industry and fans, something Axl has squandered.
