Needless death. Dumb blonde who died doing something stupid. This sport needs to be banned. You might as well be bungee jumping with a loose cord onto a concrete sidewalk. Instead of earning Olympic medals for Canada, she left this country with a legacy of debt. Taxpayers ended up paying for a portion of her medical costs by way of the CBC. This woman is not a role model for young women. She wasn't a doctor or a supreme court judge. Stop making her out to be a fucking martyr.

We just lost a beautiful person who has never forgotten where she came from. On the slopes she was simply the best. Off the slopes she treated everyone as though they were her friend, including her fans. The world has just lost a legend, she was only getting started. God Bless Sarah, Rory and their family. She was taken from us way too soon. This really hurts!

Very sad. She is not be forgotten, she has been extremly active to obtain her discipline for the Olympic Games in Sochi. But she will not be there :(( Thats very very very sad, best regards to the family.

@gandalffrodon yes you're right. we all have to go some day one way or another. but when someone dies at such an early age, it is a tragedy of unfathomable proportions. she will definitely not be forgotten. may her organs continue to live and inspire whoever received it!
