joined the 1st bn in 1985 ian morton was my instructor at the guards depot and tony blackburn recruited me i left in 2003 as Drum Major 1SG its good to see everyone hope you are all well
I know it was hell, fighting on that freezing mountain all those years ago. I had a friend in the 2nd battalion who was injured up there... Some of us still remember what you went through, are still proud of what you did, and still extremely grateful. Thank you...
Hi, I am a Scots Guards daughter and very proud of it. Dads No is 23229235. 1st Batallion. Been in contact with the batallion for various reasons. 1 Dad's mate died late last year and secondly; put money the SG way for the poor souls that have to pay their way (you know what I mean. Disregard if they are Scots, Irish or Colies - they put their life on the line for us. Am I right or am I wrong????

Glad to see you are all looking so well, Ian Morton certainly hasn't changed much other than a wee bit weight.
