@Devilazer Actually according to the recent episodes of Pokemon Black & White (you can shoot me after I'm done), there was an episode where Ash catches a Snivy that uses Attract. Cilan then explains that Snivy must be female which is why Attract worked on Pikachu, and why it didn't work on Ash's Pidove was because it was female. So after so many years, they finally revealed that Ash's Pikachu is indeed male. :3
