  • Should I start with my power foot, or my other foot first? I want to at least get a 2 step wall run but all I keep doing is pushing myself away with my foot and not getting another step in, I've tried using both feet.

  • @CalvinBGood Well in other videos, and what helped me, is to leap off your least dominant foot and hit the wall with your dominant, then you can get more power and thus, more air

    Try approaching the wall at a 45 degree angle. If you're right handed, it would probably be easier to do it with the wall on your right. When you hit the wall, don't just jump and kick the wall.

    Check azoazotube's wall run tutorial. by far the best.

  • @nikolalx1 The balls of your feet are the front parts - ie, not the heel - :) So as you run on the wall, you want to be acting as though you're tip toeing (toeing? nvm) Sorry if that's a bad analogy... :)

  • ooh, i have been using that, i can bounce off the wall, but i have no luck with bouncing off the wall multiple times for the "wall run" effect. its either grip or positioning that is messing me up.

  • @ziad137 @ziad137 "You have not tired" How could you know if you never tried it? It doesn't hurt at all. You use the balls of your feet to lower the impact of your feet. It doesn't hurt, ziad. I land, wall run, and climb on the balls of my feet all the time.

  • @ziad137 The balls of your feet refer to the area in your foot just below your toes. Line your foot with it's toes facing upward while the heel is leveled on the ground. You can see your foot is curved, this is due to the heel (The bottom part of your foot that is on the ground) and the balls of your feet (The other part of your feet sticking out that is right behind your toes). If you have anymore questions I'll send you a link showing it exactly.

  • @ziad137 I can't really say much but the tiring phrase "Practices makes perfect". Practice is a key component to anything complex. Even simple things like vaulting takes some practice to get down. If there's any major problems then I can provide you with tips other than that I can't do anything but just say "Practice, practice, practice".

  • the rolls have work that needs to be done, my specialty is actually combat rolling and absorbing shock, thats what i do best, but i think with the momentum you had going you could have probly gotten another step or 2 at the end there instead of jumping off,

  • the reason i watch this is because today i was at school and my mate was chasing me and i was coming up to a wall so i tried it first time never done it before and i did pretty well :)

  • i can take 4 steps on a wall, its not so hard once you get the hang of it, try to not take a to big jump when going on to the wall... try to just like let it flow onto the wall if you take a big step onto the wall most of your speed will be lost...

  • ther shud be a ledge just where he normally comes off the wall, that would be awesome if he just ran up the wall onto the ledge or roof xD
