just saw a ribbon worm around 2 mts. (metric) last friday during a night dive was crazy to see its movement! thanks for sharing this!

No; this worm is not a parasite. Nemertine worms are free-living marine organisms. This one was living in a kelp holdfast from the Pacific Ocean.
