Nizoral the shampoo. It's pricey 9.99 at WalMart for 4 oz. Before I began my locs I used it to clear up my scalp condition, now that I have them and can only "dry shampoo" them I enlist my spouse to make sure the flakes are not present. I can not use oil on my scalp it causes major flake issues. So I am looking for a way to moisturize my scalp without the drama.
@MsPurpleGoddess i usually just don't moisturize my scalp per say, but my hair. My current routine is olive oil mixed w/rosemary and lavender oil. I spritz it on after I wash and just rub it all over my hair. Just a few squirts and it seems to keep my hair from being an oily dandruff mess, yet it's not crunchy and dry.
Dynamicrunner is a utuber who has SD, locs and latches.. maybe you can have a look at her vids..
