there is a big visual contrast between the way they are dressed and look like......a guy in uniform don't fit with a guy with a blond girlish hairdo...I mean "visually"; the image they show to the world is like a parody of a straight marriage... the real strong man and the girlish delicate blond one...

I don't mean they should change partner just their cloths (and hairdo) for such an important event...whatever good luck and long life together

@Verderer Actually, this is about gay marriage, not civil partnerships. The UK does not allow gay MARRIAGE but allows civil partnerships with basically the same rights, but counts gay marriages as invalid and illegal. A lesbian couple in 2006 tried very hard to be married there and were not allowed to. We have the partnerships in the US for some time but this is about marriage. Hopefully one day all countries will allow gay marriage. :)

My best friend has 7 kids and they've all 'adopted' me as uncle. One of the 7 is Gay and I attended his and his husband's wedding in Vancouver Canada 6 years ago. It was, similar to this one, a civil service, held poolside at a country club with no mention of 'god'. The guys are LEGALLY married, still heads over heels in love and are in the process of adopting a child. Adam's parents, siblings and 'adopted uncle' can't wait to meet the new addition!!!!

Happy Times - Reminds me of the 9th March 2006 - the glorious day I married my wonderful husband Greg! We had to wait 6 years for the law to change but it was worth every second! Hopefully the rest of the World will follow suit soon, but until then we must demand equality everywhere!
