I would just like to point out that I do not think this film was meant to be seriously analyzed. Didn't expect it to have some super amazing plot (although I thought the plot fit the film), Oscar-winning performances, or anything like that, and yet I still left the fillmsi.co.cc entertained.

I just watched the 2 versions, the DVD and original with the Director's Cut. One is a masterpiece and the other very close from crap. Boths films have almost the same footage but God is in the Details. Long life to the Editor Works!

This was filmed in and around my home town of New Iberia, Louisiana. the scene where the red sports car slides in from the right and goes speeding across the bridge at 1:15 was filmed just walking distance from my house. I watched them filming the scene. It was pretty cool to see that and I couldn't wait to see the movie. The critics didn't think much of it, but I enjoyed the movie a lot. And not just because it was filmed locally, I just thought it was a great movie.

@Mohawkxx of course I don't want to argue but I just down loaded the song at the ending credits from the electric mist and it is called La Terre Trembante by Marco Beltrami according to itunes ?? I'm no expert but the whole soundtrack is on itunes so it won't hurt to give it a listen.
