I've been doing TKD for a while and I'm sorry but this is unacceptable.

1) The kicks weren't very good

2) What black belt testing only requires some of the patterns to be demonstrated?

3) Part of becoming a blackbelt is showing sparring technique. This wasn't true sparring. Sparring means padding up and actually touching your opponent.

4) In my class, we had to spar at least 2 blackbelts simultaneously.

I don't mean to be disrespectful but that place obviously just hands out belts.

@raymondmannion I would have to agree, generally you cant make judgements based on a snap shot like this. Being a black belt does not mean you have the highest kicks or fanciest techniques, its about the total package which includes your knowledge, discipline and ability to endure years of difficult training.  Besides the black belt is not an expert, he/she has merely overcome the first hurdle in their journey.
