when the song was written, from what our grand parents tell us, it was written as a victory march. i am sure that those who marched for victory were also men and not just women. so it might be nice to hear a male voice sing it. it doesn't have to be martin but he was manny's choice. why doesn't anyone understand that?

Lea is one of the BEST SINGERS aside from Gary V. in my opinion na best singers in Pinas ano...i mean dati Kuh Ledesma magaling pero di na ngayon..she has that dignity that Lea Salonga has and Kuh only choses the best..Martin Nievera (sorry if my spelling is wrong) is my mom's ultimate favorite singer in Pinas but if singing the pambansang awit for me its really either Gary Valenciano or Lea Salonga. =)
