  • Did he say ".. used in porn shops.. " ?

  • @colemanthesoulman pawn shops

  • you talk too much bob.

  • I've owned a fair share of vintage tube amps and pedals, and I must say, this pedal sounds bad. It sounds muddy and lifeless. I was excited about this reisssue; now I'm thankful that I didn't buy one.

  • @luffliffloaf Did the originals sound better?

  • ewwwww horrid :/

  • fuzz is pretty sick, but kinda sounds like it drowns out your tone :/

  • Hate this Pedal. I've demo'd it three times. It just sucks all the way around!! You want a fuzz?? Then buy a Joe Bonamassa Fuzz Face. There is only 1000 that has been made. And the tone is breathtaking.

  • @sngncwby You do understand that they can't be usefully compared, right? It's like comparing a Twin Reverb to a 1959SLP. They're aimed at totally different styles of music. Nobody's going to play Eric Johnson with a Blender, nobody's gonna play J Mascis with a Fuzz Face.

  • sounds like a bag of shite!

  • @JJoneEIGHTY You sound like a bag of shite.

  • @minedarea is that an insult? i dont know, keyboard warrior's aint what they used to be...

  • @minedarea its not him, the pedal sounds like shit

  • 1:19 is my favorite....

  • why the fuck doesnt bob just do the whole demo himself, that boring talking guy is just annoying. the tone from 3.14 onwards is cracking!

  • Weezer & Smashing Pumpkings use this pedal?

  • @zaifro

Smashing Pumpkins = Big Muff Pi

  • @sonico86 Yes i know! Tanx! but the pedal that im looking for is this BLENDER!

  • @sonico86 Billy used this pedal as well. I dont know about Weezer though. I think they just used the amps distortion and then the bassist (Matt Sharp) used fuzz if not then they used a rat.

  • @rssnowblind0 Matt Sharp actually used a vintage Orange amp. Rivers's setup literally depends on the album:

The Blue "crunch" sound is from an undocumented Mesa-Boogie combo, Pinkerton used an unnamed amp with tons of fuzz-boxes, Green used Marshall half stacks, Maladroit (and I think Make Believe as well) used a Line 6 POD on the Rock setting (if on MB, crunch). And then it's all computer-based modelling from there.

  • @sonico86 Actually, Billy's mentioned using this pedal before (along with many, many others)

IIRC, Melon Collie used this pedal quite a bit.

  • I like it. I got the reissue first but I gave it to my brother and bought and hand-built one closer to the original spec from RonSound. Good for aggressive in your face raw stuff!

  • This pedal sucks

  • I had an original and I didn't like it at all. It had no bottom end and the blending aspect was the worst part. It blends the clean signal with the distorted signal and sounds like ass.

  • COOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really need one now, wich i didn't know until i saw this video.

  • Can you make any useable sounds with this thing?

  • @haisevaewok, if your name isn't jack white, it's going to be hard

  • it sounds like it's about to die.

  • not for me...

  • Back in the day have you ever looked at the front of the Three Dog Night's NATURALLY album. You can see the Fender Blender sitting on the floor on the front of the album cover in front of guitarist Michael Allsup. If you listen you can hear this effect on the songs ONE MAN BAND, FIREATER, AND JOY TO THE WORLD. He was one of the ones using the originals back in the 70s!

  • Sounds like a ring mod...cooool

  • Can you JUST fuzz or JUST octave with this pedal????

  • hey Billy Corgan use it to?

  • yes. search SMASHING PUMPKINS SLUNK LIVE and he is running through it there!

  • yes he does.

  • My bloody valentine too

  • @agusformol1 Yes, he did. It's all over Siamese Dream and MCIS. The high pitch squeals in XYU are a perfect example (with added effect of Digitech Wammy).

  • Gotta love Bob!

  • I posted a Black Magic Woman video using the FENDER BLENDER for you to listen to...Had one the originals in the 70's...Gave 50bucks and a key to a drink machine for it then...lol...once you get these dialed in , there's nothing quite like it...

  • seriously, just buy the dunlop jimi hendrix octavia, it sounds sooo much better!

  • none of all fuzzeZ beats the foxx tonemachine.

    truly a beast.

searched hours for a kewl, dirty driven basstone in the studio and connected the tonemachine just for fun and it was the most musicaly fuzztone i have ever heard.

  • ...can see why they dropped it before!!

  • exactly

  • here's bob!

  • Where can i get this pedal cause i really want one?

    thanx

  • you can get one in a swedish guitar store called musikbörsen, but don't, 'cause im going there to buy it soon...

  • Musicians friend has them too
