in NH u go down to the police station in your town fill out a form and within 14 days they let u know if u can carry concealed. mine took 2 hours and only cost 10 dollars
Virginia must be one of the easiest states to get a CCW permit in. I took a 1 hour online course and filled out the paperwork at the courthouse. Total cost was $89.95 and had the permit 2 weeks after I did the paperwork.
This is very interesting....I'm from Alabama and as long as you have a pulse you can get a CCW. Got mine several months ago. All I did was go into the county sheriffs office, ask how i could get a CCW, i was given a paper to fill out, waited about 30 seconds to get cleared, then gave them $15, then i was given the permit immediately .
Sounds very similar to NC. Except KY is a bit cheaper, and it doesn't take as long. Like Matt, I like hearing about other state's requirements for CCW.
Concealed "deadly weapons" permit? No offense brother, but isn't it just a "concealed weapon" permit. I am a certified firearms intstructor, and not that I'm trying to make it something that it's not...I still try to keep those "dark" terms out of the world of firearms. It keeps the liberals from having a reason to get on their podium pounding their fist. Example..it's not an "assault rifle"...it's a "battle rifle" or "personal defense firearm". Just food for thought, take care.
