hey, does anyone know how did the green thing in the joint works? i mean, the bottle said it was masking, so how to remove it if it really mask the under paint?

@Testingpointer1 I am guessing it forms sort of a gel layer (think liquid band-aid) that she then peels off when its dry.

that facemask isnt going to do you any good as far as stoping you inhaling paint fumes.

@GaMeR4LyF Yes it will, to a low extend since It has a filling of active carbon. It´s a good thing that she is only spraying acrylic paints which are alcohol based. For long term use she should of course buy a proper respirator / face mask .

It's liquid mask, very useful for parts hard to mask with tape

She wasn't trying to spray the booth first, she started the spray because sometimes the spray clogs up and it doesn't cover the plamo evenly. She uses the stick so the paint wont go all over the place.

and also, can someone help me with the paint-thinner ratio? i cant seem to get it right, specially with white.

i use tamiya acrylic paints, both gloss and/or flat. with a revell master class airbrush w/ 0.3mm nozel

If you have not noticed, it seems as if these clips are made IN a hobby store. This *may* be why they have all the latest and greatest tools of the trade. The hobby store wants to make sure people come in and buy products as well as models. In either case, while I also do not understand Japanese, I AM able to learn by watching. Do I understand all of it?No... But, I appreciate them sharing!

What are you ticked off about? Her painting the model? Well if you want the best result you have to paint it. It ilimnates the light swirls and impurities in the platic and gives you a nice clean and smooth result.
