  • how many towels fit this machine ?

  • have the same washer, and works good still being old. i like the direct drive washers over any washer.

  • Ela lava bem a roupa ? Nossa parece q toda água q ela pega e drena é de sabão, qtas vezes ela lava a roupa ?

  • What year was that whirlpool washer from?

  • @gy1952 It is betwen 1995 and 1998. I will check with Whirlpool to be sure.

  • @dualactionsurgilator nice washer

  • Oh wanted to ask, going by the noise your dryer makes, is it a Maytag?

  • @Sharkie626 Yes It is a Maytag Performa model. Looks to be a Norge/Magic Chef design A very basic model but it works well.

  • @dualactionsurgilator I also remember you saying you also have that Maytag washer (in your vids) so, does this laundry room have 2 washers in it?

  • @Sharkie626 No the Maytag set is in my home and the Whirlpool is at my girlfriends house.

  • @dualactionsurgilator Oh! Okay, cool deal :)

  • Nice machine ours is just like that. But ours is a 1990 model what year is yours? The agitator has been broken for years on ours but I plan to fix it one of these days!!What i mean is the top half don't turn but the bottom works well!!

  • @arkansastrash320 What's happened to your machine is the agitator dogs have stripped out. I have a video of how this mechanism works posted. These dogs are a common part to wear out. I can instruct you on how to replace them if needed. This machine is a 1996-1998 model. Sharkie626 has a 1990 Whirlpool similar to yours. Hope this helps and you can enjoy your Whirlpool as much is I do.

  • @dualactionsurgilator Oh yeah i am aware of the problem and what it needs just haven't fixed it.I do thank you for your help and everthing and if i need a pointer sure will ask you thanks. And yeah i enjoy the whirlpool but i love my wringers more.

  • @arkansastrash320 Sounds good my friend.

  • wow what great water pressure thats all i can say!!!

  • @somestuff2day The house the machine is in is just down the hill from a massive water tower. Although I did edit out parts of the wash fill I can say it does fill quickly.

  • Oh hey, I just noticed, it looks like you got one of the newer upper agitators? I happened to notice the "bumps" on the undersides of the spirals.

  • @Sharkie626 Correct this is an Xtra roll agitator. It repaced the standard auger on the higher end models startring in the mid 90's.

  • @dualactionsurgilator That long ago? wow I thought it was more recent, heh.

  • @Sharkie626 I know this machine was made between 96 and 98 so it had to exist then. Not sure of the exact year of introduction though.

  • @dualactionsurgilator ahh okay, that's pretty cool. Curious, does this machine have a warm water rinse?

  • @Sharkie626 Yes it does, the temp settings are as follows; hot-cold, warm-warm, warm-cold, cold-cold. The other options on the Cleantouch console are: Cycle signal, on-off, Extra rinse on-off.

  • @dualactionsurgilator Nice! Ours (you probably saw already) actually has a Hot-Warm, we only use that for towels that are really dirty.

  • @Sharkie626 I've found you really only need a warm rinse for greasy loads.

  • @dualactionsurgilator Ya know, I can probably agree with that. My bro's place has a newer one that we got over the summer that only does cold rinse and still does great. Though, I plan to get around that by doing some fancy work with the hoses.

  • @Sharkie626 Be careful when you do this. The new machines have thermistors on the outlet side of the fill valves. Reversing the inlets could cause that to malfunction and the machine may not fill correctly or at all.

  • @dualactionsurgilator Oh i'm not reversing them at all, what I am doing is, I am attaching them both to the cold water inlet and putting on their own independent valve at the water lines and just leaving the selector on cold. I actually did this before and it worked fine, however I had to later undo it because little did I realize, I literally attached the hot and cold lines together lol, so I need like a one-way valve added or something.

  • @Sharkie626 I think that will work however, be sure to cap off the hot water inlet to prevent any backflow from flooding the floor.

  • @dualactionsurgilator Exactly what I did ;)

  • @RobGwisdala Nice laundry pair, your washer is pretty much TOL. The dryer is in the upper end of the Kenmore lineup as well.

  • Nice video. What is the rpm of the spin?

  • @DeanJB74 This machine spins at 640 rpm.

  • 2nd rinse?

  • @vanni9283 You see it during the last bit of the video. Dropped some of it for time saving purposes.

  • great new video! it's too bad ya edited out the drain cycle, mainly because I love how the motor sounds during the drain. lol

  • Tide, that's the best detergent

  • @NVHSChadSheppard1 I agree Tide is the best and nothing like a good Whirlpool to get the laundry done right

  • Very cool!. I love when spin starts. How much MP does your camera have?

  • @bestcleaningwasher Thanks. I really enjoy the Whirlpool spin too, especially the spray rinses. My camera is a JVC Everio hd500 it records in 1080p.
