  • umm if i record with camtasia can i edit in wmm?

  • how tho?

  • thank you!

  • which is the best movie maker?

  • If you mean video editor...then for Windows, probably, Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere. For Mac, Final Cut Pro.

  • rubish

  • People still use that crappy Movie Maker? lol

  • Well yes, but I don't...I've moved on to Sony Vegas 8.0b and other software etc.

  • A wise decission.

  • i recorded a small clip with my digital camera and when i went to import video, the clip i wanted was not there. Do i have to record a clip using hypercam 2? Please reply ASAP.

  • This is probably because you have the video that you want to import in the wrong format hence conversion is necessary. Try using the free open source application, media coder...BTW what format is the video you are trying to import?

  • well .wmv obviously

  • very well done

  • but how do u get video clips on the windows movie maker?? from other websites

  • You download the clips off the websites then drag them from your files over to the windows movie maker

  • but where do u download them from is my biggest problem

  • It depends on what you want to download, I search on Google most of the time or find people on youtube that have the clips you want and ask where they downloaded them from x

  • Great job........but it took me eternity to figure out how to adjust videos on sound clips "just split the video to smaller parts" right? "thats aint even close to easy"

If theres an easier way tell me plz..

  • Did you edit ur voice..?

  • Nope not at all although in ALL future episodes of TU we will be implementing the "No Background Noise" feature in our screencasting software which has recently been upgraded! Thanks for watching

  • lol u sound really excited

  • Yeh because just before I shot the video I got an iPod Nano...thanks for watching

  • great job, you are doing a great service to kids and grown ups who want to know about softwares that they are not familiar with..

  • Thanks very much!

  • hmmmm

    i have one question

say i have a clip and i want to shorten the clip but keep the audio file..

but when i try to shorten the video content it automatically shortens the audio

    help please

  • Yeh I have that problem too, there is no layer support. Try Googling it.

  • durn.

  • kkkkk

  • I want the ease in to go in the corner but it only goes in the middle. How do I get it to ease in the corner?

  • u seem smart umm...i made a video but i can't figure out how to switch it to .WMV to put it on youtube?how?

  • thanks

click "save movie" under "file" then it will save into wmv, if you want to convert into something else then just using a software like Mediacoder or a website like media(DASH)convert(dot)com

  • thx

  • You are welcome dude!

  • thx dude i just rented mario kart wii for a day and i recorded my first grand prix ive used wmm before but i needed to know about the getting it on and uploading it to youtube so thx =) how old are u

  • Your welcome dude, sorry I do not give out my age(but I under 13). Thanks for watching!

  • You got that background from mobilephone2003's website.

  • Yeh I know...Thanks for watching!

  • Hey I watched it I rate it a 5 nice job

  • Thanks dude thats great !

  • thanks for the video!

how did you make a 10:07 video?

how did you bypass the 10 minute mark?

  • Your welcome, Youtube dosen't restrict non partners to 10 minutes and under...it restricts them to under 10 minutes 59 seconds. Therefore in theory you can pass 10 minutes but not 11 minutes! lol

  • oh i got it now!

    well that's usefull!

oh and just to tell you if you were wondering i got my computer fixed.

  • Oh okay that is great!

  • Also if you have a director's account.

  • Yeh that's true

  • what screen capture program do u use!

  • I use a free, open source application called CamStudio. It is a great software and has some great features includig auto-pan which is what I use. Thanks for watching!

  • how do you get clips filmed by camtasia into it?

  • You film a clip on CamTasia and it will save into a .comproj or .camrec file, you then open it again and click on "Save into Shareable Format", select WMV or AVI (WMM only supports those) then select sizes etc. Finally, you go on to WMM and click on Import Video like I showed you on the video. Finally, select the file, open it and use it to creat ur video. Thanks for watching! (Sorry for the long comment)

  • what other video makers do u recommend!

  • I recommend Camtasia Studio 5, which is a great package for screencasting, editing and more. I also recommend, for Mac users, iMovie for video editing then iShowU, ScreenFlow or SnapsXPro for the screen capture software. Thanks for watching!

  • Great tutorial (5/5) but I prefer more powerful editing software. I use Pinnacle Studio an I love it!

  • Thanks for watching dude. Yeh I have heard of Pinnacle Studio and I have used it once although it was my cousin's ! lol
