I gave my moosedog a squeaky platypus right after she came home with us. She tucked tail and skulked away until I put it away in the closet. A couple of months later she went to the closet door and barked furiously, scratching at the door. I got the platypus out, gave it a squeak (more of a quack), and now (13 years later) it's still her favorite toy.
