So I just bought this bike. Took delivery on Tuesday. If you're wondering if it's as good as you think from watching this, yes, it is. Oh wow it is. When you hit a clear road and open up the engine you'll hear god. But if you have never ridden before, I would NOT recommend starting on this. It is not an easy bike to ride, and there's a good chance you'll wreck the bike and/or hurt yourself. Get a beater, get some experience, and honestly save some $ up, because Duc's can be money pits

@gaae2000 Don't buy a Ducati until you've at least got the basics down, if you don't know how to ride a bike with a lot of power it will ride you, I would recommend starting out with a used bike spend most of your money in protective gear and then tear the shit out of it in an empty parking lot or an old airfield. Also most motorcycle crashes arn't fully riders fault rather the car next to you that can't see you.

@redninjarider500 could not agree with you more. @gaae2000, buy a cheap bike (under $2k, or something you won't care if you drop it a few times), take the MSF course (or something equivalent where you live if not in the US) and get your license, learn to ride for a year or two (be comfortable with dealing with traffic, higher speeds, and windy backroads), then get a Duc.
