This car is so amazing except for one little defect. The crankshaft position sensor. I have an SLK320 and I had just had it serviced when driving down a busy road the sensor went off without warning. This caused the car to turn off in the middle of a road and nearly get me killed.

@jrmusante1 I looked through the Crossfire forums and everybody seems to be aware of it. It seems to be a very infamous problem. But don't get me wrong, these cars are amazing. Just that if you buy it, I would strongly recommend you have it replaced even if they tell you that it's good. You just never know with a used car and the LAST thing you want is for a car to shut down in the middle of the freeway in the middle lane going 70 mph without even a warning... just the radio turning off...

@ncarter124 Because he - not like the others - does not use the music as an effect for his videos, but just uses it for showing the options and usage of the sound- and navigationsystems. So its not like using the music for making a scene more exiting or any other effect but to show the soundsystems itselfs. In his videos its not about the music but about the soundsystem - thats the difference.

@XAVIXguy No. No. NOOOOOOOO!! First of all the first generation SLK was beautiful and cool with a folding metal top. But it wasn't nice to drive, it was slow, and it was very heavy. And quality was questionable at the time at Mercedes. And with the dreadful driving experience, Chrysler made it worse with their even more questionable and traditional quality. So it's not. I don't know about reliability cause they never sold very well nor owned one.

For some reason, I like the body style, I mean, it's slim and smooth.. I just don't know.. it doesn't look right with a Chrysler emblem on the steering wheel..I wouldn't suspect this from General Motors, haha. I like how the exhaust and the temperature is positioned. The interior is okay, just a little cramp. But I don't like how the buttons look so cheap lol

Oh, a nice old Mercedes-Benz SLK 320 ... ehhhm, I mean a nice (in 2005) new Chrysler Crossfire ... reminds me in the interior of one of my grandfathers old cars, his old SLK. The Chrysler actually is a rebadged Mercedes-Benz SLK 320 (R170) with a 3.2 Liter V6 and 218 hp. Nice car actually, but quite cheap at the center-console (too much plastics) - the worst thing about the chrysler is the gearshifter, feels just cheap. Overall a nice car with a good price - but its still a Chrysler.
