So, my OPINION is that would be awesome but you should play (or at least read a detailed synopsis about) the ending of Metal Gear Solid 4. The game depicts the true nature of war and in the end, they do shut down an id weapons system, disabling all firepower - only to learn war will never stop but will take on new forms in order to destroy.
