  • You have a great taste of poetry, music and art.just like me. Thanks a lot for posting this..you gave a picture to the great poet's poetry...

  • This should have been both the Bible and the Koran. My edition is 90 pages and it makes more sense then my other two books 1007 pages combined. The Prophet describes the true way of life.

  • Spectacular! This art of the poem with that of the music and the images .. is so Beauty-Full. ~T*h*a*n*k y*o*u so much!~

  • One of the best books around!

  • i love his quote: faith is the knowledge within the heart, beyond the reach of proof..any way what religion is he? christian or a muslim?

  • I recently published my book and if you're into Gibran's messages about humanity, or other writers like Thoreau or Orwell, you will most probably enjoy the messages in my poetry too. Specifically those of Part 1, and Part 3. I would appreciate it so much if you could take a second to check it out...

  • Like Lebanese,I'm proud that Gibran is Lebanese,my father everyday read the Prophet & the Bible,he loved his books but especially the prophet,he learned me to love the books of Gibran,I grow up with his Books & I feel very rich inside me,& lucky to had father like my father,my father left early this life at the war of 2006,I missed him so much!!!!!!!

  • love it so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • O my god I started crying so hard when I watched this. To look for love so hard and have it continue to elude me is one of my life's great lessons. This work will be a powerful tool in my search.

  • Thank you for sharing with us the lovely poems of Kahlil Gibran-so soothing :) remembering the important gifts of life...

  • he died... WHEN?

btw, my name is the same as him, and I'm soooo proud of it :D

  • Inspiring!

  • I can never ever trust in love anymore, not on this earth. I can't take the pain again. I'm just too afraid of it. THere is only one love that I even believe in anymore and that is the love of Jesus. I believe He is the one and only who will never ever use my love for him against me. And I am completely satisfied with that. I am only 53 years old (that's OLD to a lot of you) but I plan to spend the rest of whatever years I have left preparing to meet my one and ONLY true love, Jesus.

  • @Bombeni but jesus would want you to trust in earthly love, too.

  • Vielen Herzlichen Dank für das Video und die Information ! very Thanks!

  • best music i have never heard in my life of 62years,thousands and thousand salute to KHALIL ZIBRAN AND ALSO YOU TUBE

  • best music i have never heard in my life of 62years

  • When faced with difficut personal decisions in life you will find the answer in the question to yourself.

    'What would love do now?'

When you react as love you are always right .......and happy

  • AMAZING!!!

  • Everything he wrote is so beautiful! I never read books, poems and so on. Literature was not important for me (17years). But when I heard about him it really touched me, I got tears in my eyes because it was so beautiful .. I began to read his books, and discovered that literature the most beautiful thing is in the world

    greetings from holland

  • @martinosstyle try now, Gerald Manely Hopkins, I think that's how you write it.

  • I dont mean to belittle myself in front of billions but there is not one work by Khalil that I have read and not gotten teary eye'd.

  • I love how you`ve used pictures from all over the world, and all seasons,

and they show this beautiful poem off wonderfully..

    Thank you for sharing

  • Khalil Gibrans letters to Mai were the most profound letters of love ever written in history.. I wonder if we will ever see another Khalil G.

the music and the video you did is simply great.

    Regina.

  • I mixed a little video for freindship I attached, Hope you enjoy. I n=have always loved kahil.

  • 0:01 1883-19319?!

  • love this mans words...so true..

  • Beautiful indeed! So Prophetic!

  • My house says to me, Do not leave me, for here dwells your past.

And the road says to me, Come and follow me, for I am your future.

And I say to both my house and the road, I have no past, nor have I a future. If I stay here, there is a going in my staying; and if I go there is a staying in my going. Only love and death will change all things.

  • Thank you for your loving presence and beautiful creation

    Rab

  • sublime

  • These writings should be everyone's religion it is so beautiful

If you only ever buy one book again make it this and read it often, you will never want to hurt anyone again

  • "Much of Gibran's writings deal with Christianity, especially on the topic of spiritual love. His poetry is notable for its use of formal language, as well as insights on topics of life using spiritual terms. Gibran's best-known work is The Prophet, a book composed of twenty-six poetic essays." Source: Wiki! Coincidently, "The "Prophet" is right in front of me on my table. Thanks to Mariana. Will bring this vid up on my channel, right now.

    Lisa from Munich

  • The Morning Bright!

By the Glorious Morning Light, And by the Night when it is still, Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased.

Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter n care? n He found thee wandering, n He gave thee guidance. And He found thee in need, and made thee independent....

  • Thank you, and beautiful! ...And He found thee in need, and made thee independent.... So much wisdom in these words :)

(For those who are wondering... Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) was an orphan.... "Therefore treat not the orphan with harshness.")

  • "Therefore treat not the orphan with harshness, Nor repulse the petitioner, But the Bounty of thy Lord Rehearse and proclaim"

the completion of Sura "Al Duha - The morning light " (93)-11 from the Quran ..
