  • I had a set of ZBT's that lasted me about 3/4 years and I flogged the shit out of them...

  • Obviously it has to fluctuate like that, otherwise it wouldn't make the sound it does.

  • Guys, it's not Zildjian that's the problem, it's budget cymbals!

  • i have thet exact cymbal and it broke :(

  • sabian and meinl are just superior imo

  • i beat the shit out of my older zbt ride and its still as strong as ever.

  • @jakobebryant1995 yeah well...that's cause there's no shit left in it

  • no wonder...its a zildjian

  • I farted when it shook O.e

  • i have that same cymbal

  • @johnboyc5 fail

  • Thumbs up if you wanna see hi-hats in slow motion. :-o

  • ITS GYRATING OUT OF CONTROL

  • im scared to use my cymbals now

  • strange, being a ZBT i thought i was going to watch a slow motion metal/shrapnel explosion

    still a cool vid

  • A-customs do this in real time -.-

  • time warp xD

  • I have one of those!

  • what r the best kind of cymbals to get a good "smash/bash" (lack of a better word) sound from. all of mine are low pitch and i need a good crash thats not low pitch

  • @Jellybeanman0925 Zildjian A Custom. Got the quintessential crash sound.

  • @Jellybeanman0925 yeah i got a 14" A custom for that kinda lighter sound. if your wanting to save some cash, look at stagg thin 14" crashes, i've played on them for rehearsal purposes and they are actually quite good.

  • sabian xs20 224 at Guitar center Got it new on ebay for $69.75.

  • Give me a thumbs up if you have had a zbt that cracked in less than a year.

  • thumbs up, both of mine

  • thumbs up all 3 of mine did their crap!!

  • ive had mine for 9 months and there still fine

  • mine did, and i just cracked my z custom. i'll try and give that 2 year warranty a go!

  • @chrisjmanton cymbal warranties usually will only cover cracks that weren't created by misuse of the cymbal. ie, if the cymbal is cracked on the edge 9 times out of ten it's because the drummer has been using incorrect cymbal technique and/or hitting too hard. Most 'warranty cracks' are bell splits that are horizontal. Hope this helps.

  • 2 years ive had the hi hat nd no crack.

  • @mrTooKanSam i have a 14" zbt crash for a year and a half and theres not even a tiny crack in it

  • @mrTooKanSam mine cracked in a year and HALF

  • @mrTooKanSam i cracked my friends zbt in one show, man i was sad for him

  • @mrTooKanSam all my cymbals crack with in a year. it gets very expensive to be a drummer.

  • @captaincadavor weird... i have some 30 year old zildjians being used at least once a week in those 30 years, and they have no cracks or dents at all.

  • @sweetness295 you're lucky! maybe my style is too aggressive.

  • @captaincadavor i play pretty hard too lol but i have good felts and plastic covers for the stands, so that helps. And, when i not playing them, i take good care of them.

  • @mrTooKanSam thats why u avedis or a customs

  • @sweetness295 no thats y u just cont play zildjian at all

  • @ringostarrkicksass I play zildjian because it sounds the best to me. Zildjian's entry level cymbals basically suck, but in my opinion, the avedis, a customs, and k customs sound amazing compared to other brands

  • @mrTooKanSam thats y i play sabian foo!!!! screw zildjian "i play zildjian because everyone else does, i love a customs cause everyone else does" not really but that seems like whats going on. thats y i play SABIAN!!!! LOSERS!!!!! 4 years with them and 1 crash berly cracked, its a sabian b8

  • @mrTooKanSam you cause it to crack its not like it cracks on you its your technique.

  • @RockHardTeam dude in less than a month it cracked nothing to do with technique the crash is just reallly thing

  • @BarfProductionz Duh you fucking retard. You cracked it NOT because it was thin but because you have no technique. Cracking a cymbal is the ultimate factor of poor technique. Get a drum teacher.

  • @RockHardTeam I'm sorry but I have to agree with BarfProductionz. Especially if it was cracked in less than a month. A cymbal lasts forever as long as you hit it correctly no matter how thin it is.

  • @RockHardTeam sorry what I meant was I agree with RockHardTeam.

  • @mrTooKanSam ive got zht pro for 5 years now nothing happend

  • @mrTooKanSam Mine has lasted over 2 years, maybe you are hitting the cymbal incorrectly? Ive had even cheaper ones last me over a year.

  • @mrTooKanSam Wow, that means mine is good, because I've had it for about 4 years and it's starting to crack now!

  • con la phantom! ahahaha

  • fuck ya i saw this on warped

  • YEAH!

  • fuckk ya

  • fucking beautiful

  • rubber cymbals!

  • yea iv got zbts they are crap but alot better than planet z

  • yeah difinetly

  • that is soo kewl

  • ZBT's suck man. their sound is so tin based that it really doesn't fit in with anything. they are fun for experimental sounding music though.

  • i play armands. they sound about 5X better. i own a 16" ZBT which i don't play because it's shitty. don't act like i'm ripping on ziljian. zbt's are alright, but compared to any other cymbals, even sabian b8's, they suck

  • Yeah... But Zildjian makes like 10 different kinds of innovative cymbals. I have A customs and they are unbelievable. ZBTs are bad but they are also zildjians lowest end cymbal....

  • true. my point is that zbt's are bad

  • Paiste Signatures. End of.

  • AMEN!

  • Paiste is so fuckin hard to find in Canada

  • Please don't listen the the fat man, Paiste makes some great cymbals as does Sabian. They all have their pros and cons.

  • i know! all i could find is a ride by paiste

  • Aahahaha. ZBTs? Are you kidding? Fine, put them against some Sabian HHs, AAXs, and some HHXs. Why would you even say that.

  • and Sabian XS20's are pretty intense.

  • Ya thats comparing zildjians lowest end cymbal to sabians highest end cymbals fucktard.

If you want a less lopsided battle compare A Custom, K, K Custom to HH, AAX and HHX

  • Still,Sabians rule the studio...Zildjians are loud and smooth sounding,But sabian has created much more diverse and solid sounds that just can't be replicated by other companys...

  • meh i have a sabian cymbal and zildjian, and crash to crash, i like the quality of one zildjain over it, but the sabian sounds better then the rest of my cymbals. It depends on what kind, and zildjain has some innovative cymbals too, but i know what your saying

  • sabian ftw

  • That's only opinion... Zildjian still rules the world in cymbals! Not to mention, they make a variety of different kinds that are innovative. Sabians are best for studio, though... But nothing beats zildjians for quality! Paiste is really nice too....

  • dude...

i went through two 16" in. crashes

    they suck...

    but the ride is good

    hi hats suck

    china cymbal is gay

  • that is a thin cymbal?

  • how coome its all wavy

  • Vibrations that make the sound

  • of all cymbals a crappy zildjan ZBT

  • tell me about it, o got a ZBT 18" crash/ride. cracked in a month, so no i replaced it with a paiste 2001 18" crash

  • i have that crash ride too lol

  • me too lol

but ive had mine for like 2 years

    no cracks at all..

  • fuck you atern0x i can name more than 5 or 6 cymbal companies here ill name a few

zildjian, sabian, paiste, wuhan, meinl, ufip, turkish made, dream, istanbul, trx, bosphours, masterwork, orion, camber, zilco, cb, solar, anatolian

theres 18 for you bitch fuck off

  • (O_o) Holy shit

((By the way, Zildjian made Zilco, I asked 'em, The more you know!))

That is an impressive list... cuz I could only name the first 5 haha

  • sabian make solar ;)

    stagg is one aswell

  • Paiste is best in my opinion. I had a $240.00 Zildjian set, but I sold them to my neighbor because I didn't like the sound at all, I wish I had the Black Alpha Slipknot set, they look so bad ass...

  • sick

  • i play meinl and paiste cause theyre the best cymbal companies ever

  • well excuse him for expressing his "personal taste".

  • ur retarded

  • Damn, you owned me! Impressive!

  • I play with Zildjian and I don't know why.

  • 90% of the budget cymbals around today are far better than what was around some years ago. Zyn for examply. However they too had budget and a top line range. Great video though, should make you think twice about killing cymbals with sticky tape!

  • it bends!!!!

  • in a music vid i saw this but the cymbal was covered in water droplets....soooooooooo cool

  • beautiful

  • thats awesome. to bad the cymbal sucks.

  • thats all i can afford

  • thats all i can afford too lol

  • LOL that's what happens when you buy shitty sheet metal cymbals.

  • You're an idiot, hit your K crash and watch it closely, it'll do the same.

  • Hey man, sorry. I was just joking about sheet metal cymbals. But yeah I noticed All cymbals do that. Cheers.

  • It's a ZBT... ZHT's are sheet cymbals, but they are based off of Cast. Try 'em I promise you that you won't be disappointed.

  • Yeah I'm used to playing ZBTs B8s ZXTs and all that. I like the ZHTs but now I play Sabian AA, AAX Paiste Twenty, 2002, Sig Zildjian A, A Custom, K but i like the ZXT Trashformer!!!

  • I love K's! B8's I can't stand. I'm not a Sabian fan, but I do like the AAX series.

  • just up there you said the zbts were shitty make up your mind

  • Why do you mix all of them up? you should stick with one company.

  • I think it's pointless to stick with just one brand because all brands have their great things (unless you're endorsed of course). But I do like Paiste more than Zildjian and Sabian. But I think they are all good.

  • Yea, i've heard alot of good things about Paiste, i'd love to be endorsed by them when i go pro. (That or Sabian, i might go with the APX) but i can never find them. How much are they?

  • They are usually the most expensive out of the big 3 (Zildjian, Sabian, and Paiste). I use their top of the line Signature series as well as the Twenty series. You can get them usually at any music store...

  • why don't you close your eye's when choosing cymbals, its an ear thing. I have a 5 Star Super Zyn 15" Hat top with a Z bottom. Never thought it would work but it does. forget brand names

  • I do actully close my eyes. :D but im sticking with one cause your not gonna go pro with a bunch of mixed up cymbals. But again, how much are Paiste's?

  • My 16'' Signature crash was $230. The 18'' inch cymbals cost around $300 and 20'' and up are from $350-400. I want to get a Traditionals series Medium Light Ride which is $476...

  • Oh god... O.o I have a friend with a huge double bass kit and he said all of his cymbals were $80 and were by Paiste

  • It depends on the series of Paiste. There are many different types. Its worth checking out the Paiste website. They have sound clips etc. You can buy cheap lines like the 101's or spend a fortune on the top line stuff. Its worth checking Ebay. Look out for 505's. very close in build and sound to the 2002's but usually a lot less as many don't realise how good they are. 602's are outstanding if you want that type of sound,Believe it or not I am using a 5 Star Super Zyn 22" instead of my K

  • I'd love a Sabian Hand Hammered 20" Rock Ride, it sounds so freaking clean and defined... but I certainly do not have the $300 it is worth. :(

  • zxt all the way

  • hax

  • Is there another word to this than cool? NO! Why? Because it's hotdamn COOOOOOOOOOL!!!

  • COoooll!!!!

  • holy cow, it looks like jello! that's super cool =D

  • wow, coooool. I own some ZBT's :p never realised that's what I put the poor things through

  • That's why you gotta buy good stuff ^^

  • If a stiff-ass ZBT would wobble like that, I wonder what a higher end wobbly cymbal would look like!?

  • nice

  • Cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • klkl

  • even coooooooler

  • What shall I say...cool!

  • The cymbal looks cooool when it's moving that slowly ;D

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • cooooooooooool

  • cool
