This is how Microsoft SHOULD have made the 2d cockpit. If a single person can make a 2d cockpit as brilliant as this, I'm sure a huge corporation like Microsoft could also have done it. It helps frame rates hugely, I bet a lot of people would start using 2d instead of VC if they were photorealistic such as these ones.

I have noticed in your DC ten vid, that the Sandel 3400 has a track indication with waypoints.

Is that your own custom modification?The realityxp version doesnt have it.

Also I want to ask you about the RMI of the Sandel. How can I change the frequency of it? Or does it tune every station automatically?

Does any 747 classic have the Sandel inside? I want to make a new video with corrected GPWS callouts and female TCAS in the Lee Harington gauge.

Whta do you think about Microsoft closing the line of flight simulators? I think it is typical of a company that doesn't care about its customers and the fact they are experiencing bad performance on its simulators. Ive got a 4gb ram quad core 2.4ghz processor and 1024 mb video card, but fs2004 runs with a stutter. Ive been playing fs since 98. Im an aeronautical engineering student and i love it realism but im fed up with the poor performance, even on a machine with great properties as above.

I prefer to fly than discuss sims to the nth degree. Your problem is your quad core....you would be better off with an overclocked 3.6ghz duo core.

I am very happy with my FS9 and will be for some time to come.

Always when I stop my work to see your videos I know that this angles are the same that real videos that I see in youtube too. Congratulations for yours 2D panel manipulations too. In the past I used to lose more time to develop to flightsim community, but nowadays I'm concentrated on my private pilot course so I'm using flightsimulator just for training some procedures.

Think again. The 747-200 has more different cockpit configurations than any other aircraft on the planet. (One of reasons I love 2D panels is I can easily make the proper config for each and ever 742 I fly......don't know why but I love the differences). This particular 742 has the most modern type of FMC I have seen in a 742.

Just to add......when you say IRS I think you mean INS. The 742 has also used all the different types of INS under the sun.

I used to use Thomas Kwong's freeware HKG which is very nice.....but I had Afcad problems so I bought the payware Imaginesim HKG from Simmarket and I do not regret it.

Hmm... it is not being selfish inmy opinion. As mentioned above, he takes all the photos for background images himself and uses a base panel (in this video it's the RFP original panel) he modifies. The problem and the reason for not releasing his panels to the community is that the panels aren't finished and also there are many built-in things from other developers which may have copyright issues. And finally, nobody has to share his work with the community, it's his way of being himself.
