Paper mario 2 Boss Fight: Cortez

don't go out of your way to tattle on the bosses cuz if u check franklys trash can he has them and other one time enemies.

i guess the reason he never did the soul-suck is because he never dropped below 10 hp while still alive.

actually he has 80hp because the third time he heals himself maxhp so that adds 20 more hp

How come when Cortez dies he finds a way to stay alive, but when mario dies, its over? is there a badge or somthing that brings you back to life?

probably because...

A. Cortez is a boss

B. Hes undead, you can't destroy what's already dead.

You know you could've just blown away the swords from him by using Flurrie's Gale Force. The battle would've been more easier, but oh well

That depends,what level r u and whats your stats? and which form is it again?

the form where he's just a head with all the swords. im 14th level, my hp is 50, my fp is 20, and BP is 9.

Does one of your party members have an attack that hits everybody like i dunno...vivian's fiery jinx? and your stats needs to be more balanced raise your BP a lot more same with FP cuz u have enough hp.If your character doesn't know a attack that hits all enemies then find more shine sprites to upgrade them.

i beat him, and with out vivian's fiery jinx and 9 bp! my strategy was to use art attack when he sucked out the souls of the audience. it was kinda hard.

Nice but it wouldve been easier to use power lift to boost stats and i still recommend u to raise your fp and bp for now on cuz u have enough hp now.Badges and fp r important too u know.

I don't get it... What's the point of getting obsssed with BP? It's weird to see someone with measly 10 HP... I can't imagine clearing the game like that.

Technically he has 70HP because he sucks the audiences' souls when he has 10HP or less left the third time.

Well actually I think he won't suck the audiences' souls if you beat him before his HP is 10 the third time.

He does that if you leave him at 5 hp or less he recovers if you defeat him pasting the 5 hp to 0 hp

@gwen0411 Uh NO IT IS NOT! For me when Cortez is at 12 HP in his final forme, I use art attack and circle him 4 timkes and BAM! No sucking in souls of the crowd.

try vivians upgraded attack fiery jinx costs 6 fp but does good damage to everything.

Yea her fiery Jinx Works the best, also if you use Earth Tremor and get it high enough it works very well

i had about 45 hp and the help of vivian and by the time vivian died i thought i was SOL(s*** outta luck)but good ideas nvr escape me so i BARLY won with bobbery and his....um...whats it called agian?the attack when he shoots 3 lil bombs and they blow up about 2 turns l8r...anyway i used that move and i barly won and i was furious when cortez said:o...ok u can just hav it ^.^i dont like it anyway
