Kadena Air Force Base is a good place to live at. I did not live in the housing, however, I DID in fact live in a tower. I have not been there since I was a little girl, but I will be moving there in about 3 months...SO EXCITED!!! :DD

Can you tell me what your rank and children stats are? we will be there in June 2011, E5 with two kids, I really hope we get offerd a 3 bedroom, it would suck to have a 2bedroom. Do you have any advice about the whole moving process? Thanks!

You know, that island is where I made most of my childhood memories,The feeling of leaving the US and landing around 3 in the morning at a airport seeing all the lights and the ferris wheel in chatan cho, its a amazing feeling..... Im truly sorry I had to move it was the best time of my life... But I didnt live on base, I lived off base in the apartment Sea Dream III, I did goto school on camp foster tho

This brings back so many good memorys I use to live in chabana miltary housing off base for kadena AFB.I was 7 or 8 yrs old I had so much fun!!!!!!
