  • I'd like to know the chord progression for this ending please, can anyone tell me where to get it! Thanks!

  • @carolinidi Sorry, I don't know what the chord progression is. (I do know what a chord progression is, I just don't know the one for this song.)

  • where can i get this sheet music for free?

  • I'd like to know where you got the sheet music for this song. I can't find it ANYWHERE!

  • Real nice. Great sound.

  • nice work :) ey how did u record it 2 pc? cause the piano sounds good quality in the video, i have the exact same piano

  • @djmurcs Thanks! Yes, on my XP computer I can run the web cam and input the stereo output from the headphone jack to the line in of the computer. I like doing it this way,

    1) Because you can hear it in stereo.

    2) Because it eliminates extraneous noises or even my singing if needed. ; )

  • This was great! Thx!

  • best 1 iv seen all nite xxxxxx

  • dedicated to my neice layla mercedes! havnt seen her since august 2008 cos me and her ma are di**heads! bet ur gorgeous baby girl xxxx

  • Oh my God, beautiful

  • . ya know... you're funny.

Tommy DeVito: You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little fucked up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to fuckin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?

  • Henry Hill: Get the fuck outta here! (over exaggerated wide opened mouth laugh)

  • Tommy DeVito: Ya motherfucker! I almost had him, I almost had him. Ya stuttering prick ya. Frankie, was he shaking? I wonder about you sometimes, Henry. You may fold under questioning.

  • Good times

  • Haha... aaaaah [wipes lone tear from eye]

  • Lets have a minute of silence for the now deceased quality we once saw in films.

  • was his last name devito in the movie? i don't think they mentioned it

  • @degree7 You know ......Your funny......

  • Beautiful. Bravo.

  • nice job bro

  • I love this tune. it's my ringtone at the moment. It's a beautiful piece of music on the extended Layla song.

  • Beautiful!

  • bellissima esecuzione

  • Grazie!

  • MAGNIFICANT, even liked the tiny mistake, thats why u get 5 stars

  • WOW! I almost cryed.

  • I cried when you spell 'cried' wrongly. Just kidding.

  • good ear man!

  • yeah did you liketune this up because it sounds way outta basic tuinning.. and i have the same yamaha piano keyboard and my tuner wheel broke and i hate when it's turned up and i play outta tune i knoww i do it tho..

  • Yes, I did tune it to the same pitch as the original song. Whereas I learned most of it by ear, it was just easier to do it that way.

Sorry to hear that your tuning wheel broke. If you have a DGX-505 it makes it pretty difficult to do anything if that wheel is not working.

  • ahh i see. and yea evrytime i turn it on and start playing i'm like WHOAAA outta tune. and have to make sure the tunning wheel doesnt move haha.

  • Nothing comes better than this.. simply awesome

  • You are a genius my friend!!

  • Hey everyone thanks for the comments.

As far as getting the chords, if it were me, I would just watch the video and just use the pause button to see where the hands are on the chords, then just imitate it.

It would be too hard to write out the music in text.

Thanks to disamong for writing out the basic chords.

  • T'aint me man. Just let the music play itself. Ignore yo'self and let the music play thru ya.

  • I really wish there was simplified sheet music for this. I been searching everywhere but can't find anything.

  • every one else did a shity job exept you did a great job on it

  • Very good. I have a Yamaha electric, myself and I really like the grand piano sound that it makes. I need to get me a pedal, though. :)

  • This is my third Yamaha. The first was a 1970s piano that weighed about 100 lbs. I since got rid of it because though it was "portable" it really wasn't in a practical sense. I got rid of it, but I kept the piano style sustain pedal that was with it. The piano I'm playing in the video came with a square sustain pedal that I don't use.

  • I'd love to have the chords for this if someone would take the time to write them out. thanks :)

  • something like

    C C/E F

    C C/E F

    Fm6/Bb C

    C C/E F

    C C/E F

    Fm6/Bb C

    Am Dm G C

    Am Dm G

though the record is speeded up so C sounds like C#

  • thanksss :)

  • as far back as i can remember i've always wanted to be a gangster.

  • If you want to learn to play piano TEACH YOURSELF!!!!!!!! You didn't see Mozart copying from someone else. You didn't see the beatles just do exactly the same as someone else THEY CREATED THEY DIDN'T FOLLOW!!!

  • great playing realy good

  • Thanks! : )

  • where can I learn how to play this?

  • A couple of people have posted slow playing tutorials of this song. LLaRo is did one.

  • they all suck no one does it right....his camera is all shakey and da quality is bad...mabye u should do a tutorial.....just maybe.....perhaps i could e-mail u some notes for songs"incredible hulk theme"?stairway to heaven?crazy train?motley crue home sweet home?x- files theme?simpsons?I have more so let me know cause i really want to learn that "layla" song.

  • Do you read music? Would you understand the chords if I gave you the chord progression?

That would be the easist thing to do. Let me know.

  • I just watched LLaRo's again. The first part is exactly what I play. 2 differences.

One it's slower because he's teaching the second is that he plays the E 2 octaves higher than what I'm playing. I like to hit the bass notes down low because it just gives a more intense sound. Especially on the Grand.

  • Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I've always liked this one. Great piano song from a guitar hero.

  • Most certainly agreed 90 percent.

  • So what are the chords, eh?

  • Love that song.. it makes me relaxing... love it when it comes on Goodfellas.. by the way you're a great piano player ;)

  • The best Layla piano solo performance, despite

    some other bits cut out.

  • beautiful

  • Great outro of a great song! 5*

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you're welcome.

  • Few things to work on but it's still good.

  • Agreed, it needs work. I didn't have the real song when I did this. Since, I've dowloaded the real Clapton version. Some day when I get the energy I may repost. Thanks for the compliment and input.

  • Ah, wonderful, I love the ending of Layla

    Clapton Is God!

  • This is excellent. :)

  • Glad you like. Thanks

  • excellent! i beg to differ on your statement that my version is better... on the contrary, yours is COMPLETE and beautiful, whereas mine was (upon relistening now) a mere snippet. You're quite a player!

  • Thanks, nice to hear from a musician.

  • Sounds nice mate =)

  • Thanks.
