@djmurcs Thanks! Yes, on my XP computer I can run the web cam and input the stereo output from the headphone jack to the line in of the computer. I like doing it this way,
1) Because you can hear it in stereo.
2) Because it eliminates extraneous noises or even my singing if needed. ; )
Tommy DeVito: You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little fucked up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to fuckin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?
Tommy DeVito: Ya motherfucker! I almost had him, I almost had him. Ya stuttering prick ya. Frankie, was he shaking? I wonder about you sometimes, Henry. You may fold under questioning.
yeah did you liketune this up because it sounds way outta basic tuinning.. and i have the same yamaha piano keyboard and my tuner wheel broke and i hate when it's turned up and i play outta tune i knoww i do it tho..
As far as getting the chords, if it were me, I would just watch the video and just use the pause button to see where the hands are on the chords, then just imitate it.
It would be too hard to write out the music in text.
Thanks to disamong for writing out the basic chords.
This is my third Yamaha. The first was a 1970s piano that weighed about 100 lbs. I since got rid of it because though it was "portable" it really wasn't in a practical sense. I got rid of it, but I kept the piano style sustain pedal that was with it. The piano I'm playing in the video came with a square sustain pedal that I don't use.
If you want to learn to play piano TEACH YOURSELF!!!!!!!! You didn't see Mozart copying from someone else. You didn't see the beatles just do exactly the same as someone else THEY CREATED THEY DIDN'T FOLLOW!!!
they all suck no one does it right....his camera is all shakey and da quality is bad...mabye u should do a tutorial.....just maybe.....perhaps i could e-mail u some notes for songs"incredible hulk theme"?stairway to heaven?crazy train?motley crue home sweet home?x- files theme?simpsons?I have more so let me know cause i really want to learn that "layla" song.
I just watched LLaRo's again. The first part is exactly what I play. 2 differences.
One it's slower because he's teaching the second is that he plays the E 2 octaves higher than what I'm playing. I like to hit the bass notes down low because it just gives a more intense sound. Especially on the Grand.
Agreed, it needs work. I didn't have the real song when I did this. Since, I've dowloaded the real Clapton version. Some day when I get the energy I may repost. Thanks for the compliment and input.
excellent! i beg to differ on your statement that my version is better... on the contrary, yours is COMPLETE and beautiful, whereas mine was (upon relistening now) a mere snippet. You're quite a player!
I'd like to know the chord progression for this ending please, can anyone tell me where to get it! Thanks!

@carolinidi Sorry, I don't know what the chord progression is. (I do know what a chord progression is, I just don't know the one for this song.)

Piano4Lyfex3 3 years ago
Yes, I did tune it to the same pitch as the original song. Whereas I learned most of it by ear, it was just easier to do it that way.
Sorry to hear that your tuning wheel broke. If you have a DGX-505 it makes it pretty difficult to do anything if that wheel is not working.
at90percent 3 years ago
ahh i see. and yea evrytime i turn it on and start playing i'm like WHOAAA outta tune. and have to make sure the tunning wheel doesnt move haha.

Very good. I have a Yamaha electric, myself and I really like the grand piano sound that it makes. I need to get me a pedal, though. :)

something like
C C/E F
C C/E F
Fm6/Bb C
C C/E F
C C/E F
Fm6/Bb C
Am Dm G C
Am Dm G
though the record is speeded up so C sounds like C#

That would be the easist thing to do. Let me know.
