  • Lookz kinda suspect...you wearing an England Jersey and all. Brasil takin' it tho, trust me!

  • The guy on our right is a TRAITOR! he better NOT be supporting anyone else but Asian countries. ALL OF ASIA MUST SUPPORT THE TWO KOREAS AND JAPAN IN THE WORLD CUP! GO GO ASIA FUCK TRAITORS ABROAD!

  • @Kra7as I'm Vietnamese... I was also born here, I have never been to Asia so I do not have a reason to support those countries. Plus, Vietnam has always carried a lot of hate (of which I do NOT) to Japan because of World War II, so I really have no reason to support them. Also, here in the US, we don't like communism, so we are not supporting North Korea at all. South Korea has a habit of playing dirty, so I don't really like supporting them either.

  • @USsoccerdudes

And if you think that politics and sports should never affect each other, then why do you refuse to support Japan and north Korea because of their political and social status with Vietnam and the US? I think you should re-consider and give more appreciation to your continent, it's not about hating the opposite group, it's just sports rivalry.

  • @Kra7as What I am saying is that we WOULD have reasons to not support them (and I said that we DON'T use those reasons). The thing is, we wish the best for all 32 teams, but supporting North Korea or Japan is like supporting Canada or Mexico. They are part of our continent, but there is no reason to support them. Plus, it is not right to call Asia my continent if I have never been to it. Politics and sports should never come together, but the truth is, it happens because we are humans.

  • @Kra7as I was born, raised, and I have lived in the US for my entire life. They made me love the game, so why should I turn my back on them? Asia already proved they can do something by getting to the semifinals, so really I don't see why you are angry. If people are going to go for their heritage, why don't we just go support Africa, because all nations have been traced back to Africa as their origin more than thousands of years ago.

  • @Kra7as Okay, so I see that you are from Iraq, which may be the reason why you hate the USA. Well guess what? The players on the US team are 23 people! Never ever put politics and sports together. There is even a chance the US team hates our government, so don't go blaming people based on their nationality.

  • @USsoccerdudes

I don't hate the USA, I know that most of the American people did not agree to go into this war, although they don't really care about us, but about their soldiers. It still would have been much better if the government had listened to the people though.

Nonetheless, the reason why I said that the Asian guy on the right should be supporting Japan, South and North Korea is because he's from Asia, and naturally he should be supporting his neighbors. That's just common sense!

  • @Kra7as I might be being repetitive on this but, I am not from Asia, my parents are. Also, what is wrong with supporting the US? Technically, if everyone supports their heritage, nobody will support US since everyone is from Europe or Asia. Yes, even the Native Americans had crossed into this country from the other continents. They just got here long before America was internationally discovered.

  • Same shirt as mine, big fan of Lampard! USA and England to progress!!!

  • looking at all those comments below, i just have to laugh. this was a friendly game. do your really think every player gave 100%? i dont think so. the US is becoming better, but a team as Holland cant be beaten by the us. maybe in a friendly altough. if holland faces the US in a real game, like in the world cup, US isnt going to win. holland has got so much more class, when compared to the US.

  • @stefdebest What are you talking about? The friendly was to see if the Holland players were in form. If they lost that game against the US, the players would be criticized for losing to a lower level team. So actually, they had pressure because to show that they were better they needed to win. Obviously the coach used that friendly to test players, and if those players can't do well against lower level teams, then obviously they won't be on the roster.

  • @USsoccerdudes

wow, relax dude. i have to say you are right, but even if players are tested in a friendly, they dont give 100% , because it is a friendly. players who think they already have got a place in the team, think they dont have to give everything. wich also i think is better. and so some players, and not the team as a whole, take the game seriously.

also, i can't deny the US is becoming stronger, but they aren't yet a real football country like f.e. england, spain, and holland.

  • @stefdebest If you don't take every game seriously, you don't deserve to be top-tier. That's what Spain learned and they are better because of it. Oh and Nigel de Jong "definitely" had more class.

  • @USsoccerdudes

and about the class thing, i wasnt talking about Nigel de Jong. i absolutely think he did wrong. it was wrong to break (?) the other players leg. but look at players like Arjen Robben. he plays at one of the best teams of europe, and often is really important for his team, with is goals. i dont say the US hasn't got class. but there are better Dutch individuals in the dutch team.

  • @stefdebest I think the Dutch are good too, but as we were talking about in our video, the point was that it was a game for the players to prove themselves. Basically, I am trying to say that the Dutch tried their best in this game as long as they were on the pitch. This was their first friendly in a while, so they needed to take the game seriously as a national team.

  • why did both teams wore their away jerseys in the game?

  • Why are you wearing an England jersey?

  • How about watching our response video to that before typing this comment. You are the 20th person to ask that question and I hate repeating myself.

  • tim howard would have saved that shot by huntaar if bornstein didnt deflict it. we will beat holland when it counts in the world cup

  • hahahahaha.. USA socks. they lost 2 - 1 hahaha every team CAN beat USA

  • What the heck are you talking about. It was against the NETHERLANDS they are 3RD IN THE WORLD, also, those two goals were through a deflection and a penalty, I could hardly say that it was domination. Face it, you are just scared of a team rising up and beating yours.

  • @USsoccerdudes

Lol this Alex guy thinks our socks are funny.

And his idea that we suck is ludicrous, its actually the exact opposite we can beat every team as long as we have a squad who is not only talented and has depth but a squad that is made sooner rather than later so they can get used to playing with each other,so they have more of a rhythm and maybe even control the possession/pace of the game. And i was hoping maybe you guys could create a Jermaine Jones vid about his USMNT career.

  • @USsoccerdudes

Sorry about the last part of that comment what i meant to say was (off course if you want to do it not pressuring or anything) if you guys could create a Jermaine Jones video about his possible future in the USMNT and what he would add and help the team accomplish.

  • lol, why is an american wearing an england shirt? america struggles because you guys dont support your team well enough. can you imagine someone from england wearing a us shirt?

  • @Cactus32 I saw an English guy wearing an Argentinan shirt, and nobody hated him for that.

  • its funny to see u american dudes know pretty much about football history, and also dutch football

i think the USA team can do well at the WC, every year they improve a bit. Dont get too excited about last years Confed Cup because the level of play there was very low.

But with your sports mentality u can beat a lot of teams.

  • Hello, Im from The Netherlands, and my compliments for this revieuw, USA played well against us, I hope for you guys you come far in the World Cup, Landon Donovan ofcourse your starplayer, so i bet he can score at least 1 goal then.

    Greetz ~Mark.

And im sorry for my english, im not that good in it.

  • Do you find it ironic that you call yourselves US Soccer fans but you are wearing an England jersey

  • haha yeah that is a bit funny.

  • AGAIN, I will say this in our next video AGAIN, Wesley (the one on the left) is the only England fan here and it is a secondary team for him because of his ancestry BUT he said it in the last video and he will say it again in the next, he WILL support USA over England any day, especially during the World Cup match, so no Benedict Arnold here.

  • @HaHaStuPadasso Hey, Wes was wearing the England jersey, not me.

  • the americans played fair, and its good that they were able to keep up with the pace of the dutch.

the dutch deserved the win though.

  • Burns Mexico ? Hahahahahaha Mexican National Team did not want "El Gringo Torres" hahahahaha..... Your US team has to get Mexicans to teach them how to play hahahahahaha.......

  • You should have typed

jajajajajajaja it would have made it more authentic.

The US has to get Me-Hee-Cans to teach us to play Soccer?

One of the reasons the sport isn't popular is because the Mexicans play the game.

Nothing more entertaining than listening to a non fan ask if the people playing on TV are children because they're all short.

  • @inbloom97

actually pachuca tried to get torres capped by SVEN but they never called him up. and if we were gonna get people to teach us football it would be argentines or brazilians not mexicans.

  • forgot to say, the way you say dirk kuijt, its funny it sounds like durk kut it means a vagina in holland :D:D

  • Sorry about that, obviously I do not speak Dutch so it was bound to happen. The languages I speak are English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. (I am the asian guy)

  • i like team usa.

to bad we for usa we rule :P

    we played bad though!

  • So are you from the Netherlands then? It is rare for Europeans to like USA, these days everyone seems to hate us for one reason or another. Some say it's because of politics, others say it's war but I hope that sports can play seperate.

  • why are you whereing a england jersey???

  • People have been asking that over and over, it is because his ancestry is English and he supports them as a secondary team but he still supports USA over them so no worries about him being Benedict Arnold.

  • how did torres do?

  • He did fine, got a couple of shots too.

  • 2-1 loss to netherlands with no, davies, dempsey, or onyewu. usa proved that they can compete with the best with out its biggest stars.

  • Yes, the goals came through a penalty and a deflection so it was unlucky, but the way we played definitely surprised many people. Fans only look at scores in friendlies but coaches and players look on how the overall performance was. Though Bornstein was to blame for both goals, we may still need him because of our drought for left-backs. I still thought it was a good game since we were not being dominated, so it proves that we do not suck. We are not Spain or Brazil level, but we can play well.

  • Really think Bornstein should still play i mean he was pretty awful the whole game and should've been taken out in the 2nd half and i believe he shouldn't even play in SA, give Heath Pierce that role i thought he not only played well but also didn't just kick and run, he took the ball up and played an ample part in the defense and the offense, because the Defense's kick and run strat isn't working and Michael Bradley i thought tried to act like Wesley Sniejder a little too much. your thoughts?

  • We will talk about it in our review on Friday.

  • Hey I like what you guys have going on here. Got an opinion question--why no Hejduk? I see Hejduk as arguably our best defender, or at least our best outside back. He has experience and despite his age, I think his conditioning is better than much of our team. What do you think?

  • Hejduk plays in the MLS he sucks, there are only a few exceptions in the MLS but in general most of them suck and besides there defense is pretty much finalized.

  • And also because he is old. The thing people liked about him was the fact that he would bring quotes for inspiration before every game and I thought it was good for motivation but even though he will not be on the team, he will be in South Africa.

  • @USsoccerdudes Yeah I guess I'm just really dissatisfied with Bornstein, and I would have said that before this game as well. He's so shakey, given I haven't seen a ton of Hejduk play time lately but I would put my money on him over Bornstein for sure...or maybe I'm just talking out of my ass.

  • hell no not hejduk hes too old.

  • i reckon holland are giong to prove to much for usa 3-1 kz holland do tke chances in the euro 2008 holland beat france 4-1 and beat the world champs italy 3-0 holland have germany and egypt in friendly so you will have a very hard game usa lol

  • If I could choose the starting lineup for the game this will be my 11: Tim Howard Frank Simek Jay DeMerit Carlos Bocanegra Jonhathan Spector Michael Bradley Jose Torres Stuart Holden Landon Donovan Eddie Johnson Jozy Altidore
  • Good line-up though both Wes and I do not like the idea of Johnson being called up. He pretty much ruined his chances in the Denmark game and even though he scored a goal in Greece on loan we do not feel it proved anything. In fact, he nearly messed that goal up and when he did score, he had a somewhat surprised look on his face. Really all we think he is good for is speed, but hey, we will see if he improved in tomorrow's game.

  • I'm also going to miss the game due to school and work but i'll watch it when I get home on ESPN 360. We obviously know the Goalie will be Howard as for our defenders it would be Spector, Demerit, Bocanegra, and Bornstein. I would prefer to play Simek over Bornstein because I want to see this kid defend and he must be good if he plays in England. As for the midfield I see Donovan, Bradley, Holden, and Torres as well he deserves it I hope to see Beasley and Edu subbed in and I wanna see Johnson

  • i live in the mideast and we get out at 230 so oo yaa

  • Great job guys, I'm from Holland and do not know much about US football but you where very much correct on the dutch preview. I think Robben has been in very fine form at Bayern lately and I hope he stays fit. Robben at 100% is fantastic, Huntelaar has been great for Milan even as a late sub he manages to score a few. Kuyt very hard worker and has been like you mentioned great at Liverpool. Wesley Sneijder has been super at inter.

  • good to hear from a Dutchman. Hopefully it will be a good game. And we can actually make make it a competive game. So thanks for the complement. Please subscribe to us and good luck in South Africa. o wait and if you have a webcam we would love to hear your thoughts before and after the game.

  • I wanna see EL Gringo Torres and Omar Gonzalez!

  • Unfortunately, you are only going to see Torres. Gonzalez is probably too inexperienced since he only had one season of professional play.

  • thanks for the guys keep up the good work!

  • FAKE SICK

  • I would love too
