The knuckles gameplay has a terribly annoying glitch. I don't know if it's happened to someone else here but when your facing the first miniboss before entering final fall as knuckles. At some point during the fight the game somehow boost's the volume of your PC. Your ears get raped by the sudden change of volume.

For a demo, this IS the best fangame I have ever seen/ play'd. The coding (minor bugs aside) was spot-on. So WHAT if they don't finish; It's still a phenomenal effort. Especially compared to the other fangames out there.

There's another bug that didn't occur in this video where Knuckles will no longer be able to stick to a wall so he can climb it. I'm not sure what causes it, but I was stuck near the beginning of Act 2 because I couldn't climb up the wall to progress through the stage. Hopefully the developers caught that and fixed it before they release this year.

Im sorry but im having a really hard time believing that multfusion gave birth to this....awesomeness. I kno that with work and patience, multfusion can make really clean visuals. But there are so many things being used here that i dont believe fusion is capable of.

Whats more is that u claim this is from the ORIGINAL fusion...idk i highly doubt it. I want some proof.

I do remember reading that it was created with Multimedia fusion, maybe with Multimedia Fusion 2... I know there was a second game maker done for the multimedia fusion series.

For the life of me... I can't find the source anymore. I checked Sonic Retro and the main site for this fangame and it doesn't say what was used to make it at all.

So you may be right for all I know.

It's a shame when the fans of Sonc the Hedgehog can make a better Sonic game than the employees of SEGA.

This game, although not perfect, looks amazing. Whoever made it should be very proud. THe music, the animation, everything is reminiscent of an old sonic game. It's like an old Sonic game in new clothes. Would have suited the Saturn or Mega CD no end.

I actually love SEGA. The logo, the stuff they pumped out when I was a kid... They've lost their way though, and you'd have to be pretty naive to disagree. It's no coincidence in my eyes that the day they released a console without any 'brand' new Sonic game (the Saturn) their demise started.

Call me a 'Sonic fanboy' all you want, but Sonic made Sega... And they've ben killing him ever so slightly, year on year, since the turn of the millennium.

There's a demo. But another fangame called Retro Sonic is being combined with this game. That's all I know, I do not know any details.

This game is now merged with Retro Sonic. It's now called Retro Sonic XG. Retro Sonic has a great engine closer to the classic Sonic games and is developed in C as opposed to Multimedia Fusion. I haven't heard any news since last year's SAGE fangame competition. They'll probably do something for this year's SAGE.

I played the retro sonic game. I still like XG much better, though Retro Sonic I'll admit is better built as an engine than this game. I knew about the merge. I'm actually glad. If they Combine retro's engine with the graphics and story from this game (or you get choices) it'd be one great big badass sonic fangame.

This game needs some fine tuning. I usually don't care about music too, but in a sonic (or sonic based) game, the music will start to annoy you a bit. Looks like a great game nontheless

it does look like a fairly sweet game ( I noticed you said this video doesn't show it's potential) I do have to say though I don't exactly care for the music all that much though, I have always loved Sonic music but this game is ho-hum really.

I would agree with you on that, actually. besides the Sonic CD US Speed music used, I don't particularly care for the music either (I expressed that about the invincible music particularly). I guess I've always associated Sonic with fast rock music since the Sonic Adventure titles. Hopefully the creator didn't create some of the music himself, I don't really want to offend him but I don't really like the music. Still, the game looks and plays really well.

Yeah, I miss the older music from the Genesis and such games. I don't like the turn they took with the boy-bandish music that they use these days. I do agree, however, that the fast rock music isn't as bad.
