Hakama were worn as traditional dress in Japan and more recently in Koryu.It is now worn by those in Sword arts,Aikido,Kyudo,Jujutsu and even some Japanese Karate Ryu.And evenif he spelled it Jujutsu,nowadays because of the popularity of BJJ most spell it jiu jitsu the way they do so as to get more publicity,wouldnt you?
