I love them all but I don't see how it can be called the same dance. The steps are different in every version but they are all good.

I love the Mexican Schottische too. This is one of my favorites The International Polka Queen's Mexican Schottische.  It is danced by a couple.

They are great. So smooth. is this the 5-step schottische?

Thank you so much for your comments. The information I was able to gather is that this is a sweetheart schottische which usually has a 26-count pattern. Hope this helps.
