No, the The Chordettes had this song as number one. That is what this show did, it counted down the top songs for that week. Snooky Lanson was one of the regular performers on this show. Giselle McKenzie was another. They changed the words here for males...

The worst thing with youtube is how so many times nothing is identified. What week was this, what year? You got it from somewhere. Likely that source might have said more about this. I know it's the Hit Parade, a TV show at the time.

People are pretty dense these days, it would be helpful if you gave them some background, some information. Otherwise most of the relevance is lost....
