I LOVED Judy Pace! Her, Diahann Caroll and Denise Nicholas were IT back in the day!! I remember that theme song playing as I had to go to bed when the show as ending! (and that was staying up late!)
I remember this as a pretty good program. Cobb was excellent, as was Judy Pace and some of the guest stars, like Peter Strauss. It seemed, however, that Zalman King was finding his way as an actor -- if he'd been stronger and had more charisma, maybe the series would have survived past its first season --

this is one of the best series ever made. Lee J. Cobb was the star and Zalman King was supposed to become great (Sean Penn reminds me of ZK!)
