These videos came from the Sega CD release of Tides of Time. There were special Glyphs in the game that relayed the story of the first game to the player. Not really of any importance, but it did encourage you to play through ToT to watch them all.

i don't know where to download it but the version you seek is the PC version, it has hidden glyphs that cotain the vids hidden throughout the levels in the game.

SEGA needs to realese new ecco the dolphin game on wii or on 360 or ps3, that would be great! instead of making those sonic tennis games and etc. They are killing sonic that way..

I agree with you especially on the Sonic side of things, but sales are poor being it's a bit of a cult game. Although would be good to show off the machine's power like with the Dreamcast and PS2 games. Keep eyes and ears open, you'll never know...

You can actually download the first Ecco at the Xbox 360 Market Place in Arcade Games. Need a to be a Gold member to do it, though. Costs money

That's because it isn't DOTF. It's Tides of Time for Sega CD, although judging from the quality of the videos, they aren't the Sega CD versions.

I didn't see anything wrong with the song (it's gorgeous and calm, yet so sad...), or with the video (nothing obscene about either), so I went "WTF?! @_@" DX Either way, I'm glad you reuploaded it! Considering one of the levels in the first Ecco game was named after one of their songs. XD I think some of the music by Pink Floyd became the Ecco staff's theme music, so they wanted to pay homage through the game. X3 This song is beautiful. @_@

Reminds me a lot of Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future (dreamcast), ah makes me want to setup it up and play it again. The Sega Genesis one was really good also, but limited. Well done.

I played that one and didn't care for it. IMO this is the best Ecco by far. In fact it's one of my favorite games till this day.

There were more tracks in the Sega CD version, the sound was better, and the history glyph cut scenes (shown in this video) were just amazing. This game showed that the Sega CD was capable of great things as a console. Too bad most of the games for it were more like B movies than games.

Animation? All I done was use a series of clips and put it in with the music. Could have improved it but have lost the movie editor save.

It's from the Sega Mega CD and PC game FMV's. There wernt any of these cut-scenes on the cartrage ones due to the space they take up.
