  • Cool thnx heaps. I actually looked this up coz im making it 4 xmas this year. The berrys look gr8!

  • good demo. My favourite version uses ginger biscuits and adds brandy or rum to the cream!

  • Thanks for the Vid!

I'm going to make this for the first time over the weekend, So It was good to have a video to 'see' how everything works with it and just how to do it all!

  • so like i put the cream and the caster sugar and electric beated it and its runny. what do i do?

  • A nice little tip is to dip the biccies in a bit of Kahlua too.....very tasty!

  • Nice Dude I'm gonna try this

  • I LOVE YOUR KITCHEN

  • it looks YUMMY hella sweet looking but yummy never heard of chocolate ripples b4 hm... but i wonder if chocolate waffers or oreos with the cream scraped out would do just fine??

  • That must have took a REALLY long time to cover the cake with berries. o.o

  • would putting it in the freezer be better? and when done would u cut it like a cake?? haha dumb questions...

  • nah dont put it in the freezer, it makes the cream go all hard and once its done you can cut it anyway you like :)

  • I think this is a REALLY good idea. I've never heard of it. But, I do a lot of thanking people with food and going to parties and the ol' brownies from a box trick is getting old. My only concern is the fruit. Is it weird tasting? Daniel said that the cookies WILL soften so I don't know..to each their own maybe. Worth a shot. Keep up the awesome vids!!

  • It makes me crack up when he says stuff like "but we're gonna do something a little bit DIFFERENT todaaay" like peeps on cookin shows mixed with someone off playschool

  • "And we beat that till its nice and firm" ehehhehe. If communitychannel was here...

  • the cookies were baked by the factory. So really there WAS baking done somewhere right sweety? Looks delicious though.

  • completely random, but pretty cool. merry belated christmas

  • this is on an add in australia, this isnt cookn it's putting stuff together

  • Really when it comes to food and "putting food together" is cooking...

  • He's been making it for years... and it doesn't say 'cooking' ANYWHERE! It says Making a No-Bake Cookies & Cream Cake

  • can u use another kind or cookie

  • Yeah any kind of crunchy chocolate cookie should work

  • yummm. looks good. i'm on my way.haha

  • What a great guy you have ;)

  • nom nom

  • I fancy this easy Cakes..my mates would dig this!!!

  • your cooking videos are always so much fun :)

  • lol that could be the new cake served on Norways national day

  • Looks yummy. Too bad we dont have those ripple biscuits here.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! My babysitter used to make this when I was little and I loved it. I can't wait to make this! My sitter used to put rainbow sprinkles all over the top but I love the berry idea :)

  • I think im going to try this today

  • The berry decorations on top look sooo pretty!

  • Lmao he's so good at being the centre of attention. And NO you could NOT use oreos. For one, they have a filling. Twi, they're really crumbly and thin. Chocolate ripple is way stronger & crunchier. ALSO did you get the idea off the Coles ads that have been playin 24/7?

  • Nah Daniel's been making them for years! I haven't seen the Coles ad...he's going to be shattered that everyone knows his not-so-secret recipe lmao

  • @Emmalina haha man are you gonna hate the news i give you then XD the recipe is on the bottom of the chocolate ripple biscuit now. You might've noticed by now though lol.

  • Goddamit! Now I`m hungry!

  • Haha looks like the norwegian flag. Looks soo yummy!

  • we make the same thing at my house except we spread strawberry or raspberry jam on the biscuits first before the cream to add some more flavour - yours looked delicious by the way!

  • Oh my gosh that looks AMAZING! I have to make it at some point over the holidays!

  • Oh my god, how funny. That is essentially the birthday dessert I have every year!! Except we make ours out of vertical stacks with 3 cookies each and call it icebox cake. No one has heard of it here, how odd that on the other side of the world you guys make it. =)

  • Dammit, I thought Aussies used the US "cookie" and not the UK "biscuit." The illusion has been ruined. :(

  • Goddamnit for fuck sake I'm going to buy you guys a fucking spatula because that drove me up the wall seeing him use a BUTTER KNIFE THE WHOLE TIME ARE YOU SERIOUS DANIEL *foams at the mouth* btw that sounds fucking awesome lol LACK OF PUNCTUATION FUCK YEAH

  • isnt it called a chocolate ripple cake.

  • That looks delicious!

  • looks so good and so easy to make. Gonna make one right now :D
