Kimberley did amazingly well! No it's not the orignial version, but that doesn't mean it's not good! She sung well and she looks gorgeous like always!

As for her weight getting mentioned (I know I saw that reading through the comments) she's fit! I'd kill to have her body and I'm a skinny twig! I'd love to have those curves!

There is something admirable about almost any Carpenters tribute, but unfortuntely this one falls far short of the mark vocally, instrumentally and stylistically. Kimberley is a poor singer, and the back up vocals by the bloke at the keyboard are joke. What's with the "yeahs"? Is he trying to get gritty with the Carpenters? Smooth, sweet, slick, and sincere is the point. Maybe he should listen to Richard Carpenters a little more closely. Musically, Kimberley Walsh should just quit.

i thought she sounded pretty nice - people can be pretty tough on her. she sings a lot of the lower parts in GA anyway. and i gotta say, i think it's refreshing that she's not some twig. the GA girls always look good but I think kimberley's the best out of the bunch, personality and looks-wise. she just always seems so down to earth.

This shows just how good Karen Carpenter was, and shows Kimberly to be very poor, even if she isn't a bad singer. People should never try and sing songs sung by karen as they'll more often than not pale in comparison. As someone else said this show highlighted how good Carpenters were. Jamie Cullum is a good singer, it may have been better had he sung the whole song solo...

Totally agree ALnXfactor..Kimberley would do well with her own material and although Carpenters songs appear to be very simplistic they are in fact complex works of art made effortless by Karen Carpenter's extraordinary vocal ability and that's

why Kimberley and the other acts struggled to make decent job..but this show deserves credit as it shows just how good The Carpenters actually were and introduce a new generation of fans who may not have been previously aware of their music.

Were you listening to the same performance as us???? Her voice is beautiful and has a fantastic low range! You dont need to warble and emulate Mariah (mentioning no names) to be a good singer. Kimba is hugely underrated I think!
