@SangueVerde7 u probaly know that the exhaust causes the turbine in a turbo to spin...when u take ur foot of the gas the volume of exhaust is lowered and the turbine slows down...when u hit the gas again u have to wait a while for the turbo to spool back up..this is turbo lag...anti lag systems help to either stop or lower lag...its timed in a way so that when u take ur foot of the gas pedal a bit of fuel is allowed into the exhaust manifold..the heat in the manifold causes the fuel to combust..

454sskilla. Anti lag systems. (ALS or also known as bang bang lol)ALS is an engine management system that minimizes turbo lag by injecting fuel and air into the exhaust stroke of an engine. The air/fuel travel down the exhaust where it meets the hot turbo vanes and BANG, it burns (expands) rapidly and keeps the turbo spinning to produce full boost while the driver releases the gas pedal. Thus for keeping boost up during gear changes which is also a great help for the race off the lights 2 hahaha
