Both are phenomenal and deserve all the credit they see. One of the reasons Tony left was due to lack of songwriting credits. Let's face it Stephan Jenkins is good but Tony is a far more technically talented musician. Shame he is no longer with the band.
I pretty much agree with Matt on this one. Kryz attempting to play this intro at the concert pretty much killed it for me. This intro is one of my favorite bits of music. Maybe listening to this before the show I went to was a bad idea. Or maybe if I had been very very (very very very) drunk I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. Other songs it wasn't as noticeable that Kryz isn't as good as Tony, thankfully. We'll see in the next few months if he gets better at playing these songs.

However, I think the band stabbed itself when Kevin was kicked out of the band. He was the real music writer of the band and 3EB sadly hasn't been the same since his departure.

actually he's pretty horrible with harmonics. he's just using an alternate tuning and fucking around on the 5th, 7th, and 12th fretts....nothing difficult.

but I agree that Tony's intro is his best work I've heard covering Cadogan's material. However, Tony needs a bit more work on other Cadogan songs but has definitely improved after being back with 3eb since 2000. It would be embarassing if he didn't. Tony can never capture the soul that Cadogan puts into his music, but Tony's the best replacement 3eb could ask for

One spectacular piece of rock and roll music. One of these rare songs that's simply too amazing for the masses to grasp.
However, I think the band stabbed itself when Kevin was kicked out of the band. He was the real music writer of the band and 3EB sadly hasn't been the same since his departure.

Dude Stephen is one of the best guitarists around. His use of harmonics is not seen by many around.

actually he's pretty horrible with harmonics. he's just using an alternate tuning and fucking around on the 5th, 7th, and 12th fretts....nothing difficult.

but I agree that Tony's intro is his best work I've heard covering Cadogan's material. However, Tony needs a bit more work on other Cadogan songs but has definitely improved after being back with 3eb since 2000. It would be embarassing if he didn't. Tony can never capture the soul that Cadogan puts into his music, but Tony's the best replacement 3eb could ask for

alright, kids. take note. THIS is what happens when a band kicks out the best musician in a band. the intro is NOTHING like what it was with Cadogan in the band. Jenkins, despite his foot-tapping and head-nodding can't keep the beat. i won't even go into his poor live-vocals skills (yes, he has talent. it should stay in a studio where it belongs). this band will walk on the sun before they create ANYTHING like they had with Kevin Cadogan.
