Fuck mw3, or should I say modern lagfare 3. Since I bought skyrim like two weeks ago I haven't touched mw3 since. After playing a game like Skyrim you just feel so ripped off when comparing to a game like mw3....I tried to get back on mw3 and that game brought out a mouthful of cuss words out of me and increased my blood temperature. In some ways I liked Oblivion more than Skyrim. I mean Skyrim's graphics and combat and control set up are the best I've seen in an RPG but the quests in Skyrim are so simple and sometimes tedious. In Oblivion there was more of a challenge in figuring things out on your own through out the quest. Also Oblivion had a slower pace which kinda suited it better, in Skyrim you rush through quests in the snap of your finger. Kinda lessened the experience for me but I still love both games.

Athletics and acrobatics weren't THAT repetitive. Once you've been somewhere, you are just going to fast travel there or to a closer location rather than run there. Also, getting a horse is faster too so whats the point of using your own virtual legs?

What I'm trying to say is, the characters can be as lazy as the gamers who play them. I liked being rewarded by running every. I also miss being able to jump over people and jumping across to surface of water... >_>

I feel like I'm not enjoying Skyrim. You can't screw around. I mean in Red Dead Redemption you could slaughter a town, leave, come back and do it all again. You can slaughter a town in Skyrim, leave, come back, and everyone's dead. It's too serious. Don't get me wrong it's an amazing game but I'm just not having fun, I feel like they became too focused on giving you so much do do that they forgot to make it fun at it's most basic level.

@d3ltadrive This is an RPG... choice and consequence are major factors. If everyone just respawned after you slaughtered them it'd break immersion and also remove an element of permenant choice. A lot of people neglect what the RPG genre actually *is*, so let me spell it out.

RPG = Roleplaying game. You play your character as though you were them. Is your character a thief with no morals? Then steal. But expect consequences. Don't just slaughter a town 'for the lolz'.

Game was ok, it's always fun running around in a big world, but it's mostly fedex quests and kill the guy in the cave quests. Token story as well and damn short. They need to up their game and move away from this mmo type game play and get deeper. O yea, lazy voice acting also, bar the main characters the voices are reused to death. Better then Oblivion for me at least, but this game was nice and shiny but ultimately shallow. Creation kit should be a blast though.

I wish he would try to focus these games on PC more, it sounds like he was paid off by Microsoft to favor the system. It's annoying having a SHITTY menu that you must navigate(yet again, mods save the day) but overall I liked Morrowind's windowed menus better, and I wish he would have went back to the journal system in Morrowind. It was difficult but more challenging and real then this arrow that tells you where to go and what to do. Overall, I don't think I've played a better game.

Skyrim is very graphically intensive because it has to render the entire wold, which is something hard to fake for consoles. PS3 doesn't deal well with this type of stuff.

All of the processors in a PS3 are specialized and can't all work on the same thing at once, and XBox's are somewhat less powerful but can be re purposed and all work on one thing if need be. I'd recommend that you do some research before saying that I'm making stuff up.

That said, we all know in the end that PCs do blow both the PS3 and XBox out of the water.

@Empir37 it's very easy to fix yourself, just delete all the old autosaves, leaving the current save, and turn off autosaves, or if yo want autosaves, you can just keep deleting the old autosaves every 30 hours of play or so, shouldn't be a problem, and will get rid of lag.

@huhjustin the ps3 version and 360 version have the same graphics man. Btw not everyone gets issues with the ps3 version. I have played for over 100 hours and have never had lag. Only glitch i have had is the flying mammoth and that glitch is on 360 and PC as well.
