Thanks for the question. You can do swing rhythms on the Beatnik by setting it to a sixteenth note triplet setting and using the perms feature to remove the 2nd, 3rd and 5th notes. This will result in a typical swing pattern that you can adjust to your liking. A shuffle beat could be achieved by removing just the 2nd and 5th notes of the pattern. Dear Onboard Reaseach - Firstly congrats. Amazing product. I have a question though.. What if I want to practise my samba 16ths? They do not fall in time with quantized time. And analysis of swing in music like jazz etc. Is it possible you could analyse and calibrate to add new features like samba swing and a shuffle etc?
