I love freedom of speech. I never said, and never would say that the congressman shouldn't be allowed to say those things. However, in my view the freedom of speech means that we should all stand up for what we believe, and I believe that Wilson's shout wasn't based in knowledge but in prejudice against the president. So I will exercise my right to criticize him.

I'm not too familiar with Obama's stance on immigration, but this argument is flawed. Thats like saying we should oppose a bill for stem cell research because once we have those laws on the book, Obama will create an army of stem cell clone troopers aha. Seriously though, illegal immigration is a separate issue entirely and certain political forces introduce it simply to cloud public policy and add fuel to the fire of a tragically polarized union.

Because there is no requirement for PROOF that you are a citizen to avail of the insurance, That amendment to the health care bill was voted down by the Dems because they do not want to offend their special interest groups.
