  • I wish to God Dave Chappelle would do a commercial. They'd sell a 1,000,000!!!

  • only westindians could do this...black north americans would be bashed

  • wow, most of you are poster children for why youtube shouldn't even allow comments. Just idiots.

  • well its no surpise this is already an accepted fact. lololollolol!!!!!

  • This commercial is amazing! The song is what makes it great too. I know this song is not just for the commercial though, and I was hoping someone out there knew where the sample for this song is from.

That piano riff is the die for and I would love to sample it. Anyone know the original of this theme song?

  • The original song is called We Like It by Iwer George....

  • @kopored Iwer George we like it

  • @TeriqTrim A little late sir =)

  • This is funny! I am living in Curacao and they have a similar one here.

  • As a Caribbean person I think this commercial is funny and cool. LMAO at the dancing sides-wining and gettin it in. But based on KFC's track record of racist commercials, I would give them the side eye.

What is wrong with liking chicken? Chicken is delicious (as comedian Dave Chapelle says, and I agree). Who doesn't like chicken?

    We Like It!

  • White racists hide out on You Tube. Punk ass mofos love the anonymity of the computer. Don't get offended by them. Majority are scared white boys who wouldn't dare go public (face to face) with their nonsense.

  • You do realize that white people did not even produce this commercial don't you?

  • I wasnt talking about the commercial. I think the commercial is funny (if you read my second quote). KFC does have a track record of producing racist commercials, whether they produced this one or not. I dont have a problem with this particular commercial. I just notice that YT in general is filled with a lot of punk ass racists (white ones usually) who use the anonymity of the computer to spew their racism.

Simple (for people who actually know how to read).

  • You're right, YT is just a place for white people to spew their racism. Here is another example. Type in "how to dance like a white guy" in the search bar.

  • Sorry, no time. No interest. Had enough of white people on YT. I know there are alot of racist ones and I don't need, nor will entertain, a smidge of evidence to the contrary. But thanks for the reply.

    Later.

  • You don't think what you said is racist at all? "I just notice that YT in general is filled with a lot of punk ass racists (white ones usually)" That is like a white person saying Harlem is filled with a bunch of murderers and drug dealers (black ones usually). But since it is a white person saying that it is racist right? Kinda a double standard don't you think?

  • You're probably white, so you don't get it. I'm done doin the back and forth thing with you.

    Good day.

  • OMG They're sooooo "unruly"!

  • To whoever gave me thumbs down it was actually a dig at the girl from TYT who described West Indians dancing and singing as "unruly".

I don't believe that these guys are unruly at all.

  • ...and if you think my comments were racist I'm actually glad you did.

Because TYT made numerous comments like this in their vids.

If you think my comment was racist you MUST also believe that TYT are racist.

The difference is that I didn't come up with that quote all by myself. I used THEIR REAL WORDS.

  • lol , that made me laugh too. The Windies supporters are watching the cricket, smiling dancing and having a great time and these fucking morons see them as being rowdy and unruly W T F?

not to mention thier little pea brain cant comprehend we dont share all thier stereotypes

    tyt are beyond stupid

  • also sorry bout the cussing .. altho it is YT . theyoungturks make me so angry. I was dissapointed with the hey hey incident, It looked racist to me I felt uncomfortable watching it as a white aussie, but that recent kfc ad,,,, it wasnt even one bit slightly racist, It didnt have any racist undertone.

  • LOL. Sounds like sarcasm, but many people on YT don't understand context. I have seen this quite often. If you have a certain type of wit, people misinterpret it and don't understand what you are trying to say, and will start fighting with you even though you're on their side.

Too many slow people in the world.

  • haha.

Even with the follow-up comment explaining the sarcasm (as if the "" around "unruly" wasn't obvious enough in the first place) someone else has added another thumbs down.

Oh well, just another way things can be misinterpreted as you said ;-)

  • The West Indies play good cricket, how could they be inferior? This goes for India, Pakistan, Trinidad and Tobago and all the rest of the cricket teams.

This is just more Commonwealth bashing because they left that particular party just as it was getting interesting and no one outside America wants to play any games with them.

Do they play any sport professionally against any other country? Apart from soccer that is.

  • LOL. Compelling argument there.

I have a vague memory of footage of the US playing baseball against perhaps the Philippines and/or Japan, but admittedly ball sport trivia is not my forte...

  • @GaseousDischarge "Philippines and/or Japan" not to be a ass but it just made me chuckle to think of Japan and the Philippines playing on the same team.

  • Haha. I trust I need not clarify that the US wouldn't have been playing them both simultaneously, nor a composite team.

It occurs to me that baseball is also an Olympic sport, so maybe I was merely thinking of that, rather than any ongoing professional circuit. Okay, this is where I stop speculating about things I know nothing about. :)

  • @GaseousDischarge Ya i know what you were trying to say there it just put a funny image in my mind is all :P.

  • I think what bothers 'some' African Americans and 'all' white apologists, is that unlike them, Australians love the Windies, and don't see race or colour as an issue..

  • @Logicbeatslies And Australia also has coon cheese.

  • @roltthehunter And your point is....?

We also call people from the Mediterranean "wogs", and I still could care less about what connotation you apply to that, because you are not Australian, and your stereotypes mean nothing to me, nor should they.

  • @Logicbeatslies coon is derogatory. Yes even in Australia it's fucking derogatory. And just because your racist and not ashamed it does not make you fucking right. Just as a observation you seem proud to be racist you make me sick.

  • Yes, Coon is a derogatory word in Australia, but the brand of cheese has nothing to do with the racial slur.

You don't know how ridiculous you sound, being so disrespectful to Australia.

I am not racist. You are making very serious allegations and getting high on yourself, based on nothing.

You are projecting your guilt. Otherwise you would not be telling me Edward Coon, can't name his product after his own name.

I'm sorry but that's just pathetic.

I hope my name isn't offensive, somewhere.

  • @Logicbeatslies If there was any fucking proof that Edward Coon was a real person you'd have a point. Edward Coon is fucking PR talk from some bigots. And to top it off yes i am from the us but i am not a patriot. pride leads to separation that leads to war and war leads to the dark side. Well fuck this i only did my first post because you were acting like your homeland was so fucking great . Stop being so fucking smug you jackass.

  • @roltthehunter

You prefer to think a cheese brand would use a derogatory slur deliberately, and that it would become a very popular brand, with an acceptance the name is supposed to induce negative connotation, bah.

  • @Logicbeatslies i don't prefer it. I would like it to not be a bigot name. Buying into PR talk like that lets them get away with being bigots and keep selling the cheese under that name. When people go to buy cheese they need to see that shit ?.

  • @roltthehunter It is up to you to see racism in a guys surname, and I'm sure the PR behind the brand are mature enough to distinguish the difference.

Perhaps you should take up the cross, and head to Mexico denouncing all the parents who name their kid Jesus.

  • @Logicbeatslies Lmao you know your wrong so now your just acting like a idiot. Like i sad THERE IS NO PROOF Edward Coon was what it was named after. Make a point next time or stfu.

  • @roltthehunter Again, you actually think a cheese company will use a racial slur in it's name deliberately, WITHOUT PROOF, no less, but somehow you think that it is black and white, that I am wrong and you are right, and I am trying to cover up the shame, or something.

No, you are ridiculous, that's all.

  • @Logicbeatslies I am happy that you can be so naive must be nice. The burden of proof is on you not me. You have no idea how the real world works your being a idiot. When you said that it was named for Edward Coon the burden of proof was on you not me and you have shown any. Your just going by PR talk.

  • The burden of proof is on the one bringing the accusation. You have to prove guilt. We are "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY"

How many incorrect comments of your yours shall I be correcting?

  • @Logicbeatslies Your so fucking stupid it's hard to put it in words. THE BURDEN OF PROOF IS ON THE ONE ASSERTING SOMETHING THIS IS NOT A FUCKING COURT. Jackass this is debate. Stop being so fucking smug.

  • @roltthehunter "Burden of proof" is a legal term.

You are making severe accusations, and using your assumption as proof.

Coon cheese is not a racist brand. They are a brand of cheese, you tool.

    Get over yourself.

  • @Logicbeatslies I'm done debating with you now. Your just fapping being a idiot not making any points and out being a liar. Next time you debate take more time and make points. I guess this was worth a laugh. cya

  • @roltthehunter

Damn, in two seconds I found the facts to back up the cheese brand "recognizes the work of Edward Coon, developer of the "Cooning Process", WHICH THEY USE!

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, you racist provocateur.

  • "Wog" is abusive. I'm a New Zealander...I know it is.

Using that term denigrates your own argument.

  • I am surrounded by wogs, and I say it all the time. I guess I know different ones. It depends, some are 95% Aussie and 5% wog, and some are 90% (pick a country), and 5/5 wog Aussie.

Kind of like wogs, I do. That is why they try and tell me I'm a wog.

    Confused yet...

    You Kiwi...

  • For someone who touts logic...that comment is a non sequitur...

  • @warrensson Hmm. Well if Edward Coon never lived then the cheese was named after the black wraparound that they sold it in . that would be racist. and for that last part it was like 5 am here :P just trying to show where i was coming from.

  • lol GOLD

  • Nothing Racist here

Trinidad and Tobago doesn't have that black man/chicken stereotype so no complaints here and it's rather catchy

  • Excellent comment, I hope I don't offend you but you're not White-American or African-American are you? If so I'm highly impressed.

  • $25.00!!!

  • I like this :-)

    More Pweezz

  • no need to be so senstive. its funny and also wtf at the same time cos its 2 guys dancing with chicken pop corn. you dont see that everyday!

  • Please, stop the self hate.

  • LOL i know many white folks will give this video a good rating ...hahaha

  • Please, stop the self hate.

  • There is another KFC Commercial wit Ziggy Rankin in it.....I seen it in early 2008 when I went to Trinidad for Carnival...Find that

  • too funny, I've been singing this since yesterday, WE LIKE IT!

  • WDMC.... Lol

  • oh shoot it's just a good ole trini kfc advertisement..........

  • Comment removed

  • All you idiots posting about race, employment, and other crap is really killing the funny vibe for this commercial...seriously...DAM! Can't even enjoy a dam cole slaw bussing a wine without you idiots spoiling it....SMDH.

  • As it understand it, not sure the percent of validity, but the chickens on Trinidad that KFC uses are home grown, and are not the same warehouse chickens used in the states.

And actually Trinidad is not a poor country its # 63 (National Average Per Capita Income using Atlas method), the US is 5, Portugal is 49, Romania is 100, India is 160, Ethiopia is the last at 208.

  • not upset at all dude, all good.

  • but you gotta admit, at 27 seconds, that framing is one some "dance negro! dance damn it". lol

  • I'm of Trinidadian decent but I grew up in NYC so I know where your coming from but that way of thinking is backwards and self-defeating. Why is it a white kid dancing a prodigy and a black kid dancing just obeying his instinct? By thinking like this its perpetuating white supremacy.

  • i hear you.

I guess you could only know that my opinion is not self defeating, because i'm not ONLY looking at it that way. I'm actually laughing at it , while observing the potential racism. The idea of my thinking perpetuating white supremcay is far fetched. I'm merely observing the OBVIOUS symbols here. BLACK FOLK DANCING + CHICKEN + CORPORATE AMERICA....but with all that i'm saying it's STILL perspective.

  • It is a ad from corporate america but look ant any other commercial in the Caribbean, from Puerto rico to Jamacia, we dance alot. We are best know for carnival. And I get what your saying but what if they were lighter to the point you didn't know they were "black" would you have posted the comment?

  • we're starting to say the same thing. As i said, looking at the american experience, one would know what those symbols mean. However, the caribean experience wouldnt think twice as to be offended. As far as your question, when you say "lighter" your speaking of a diffrent race? or a lighter complexion?

  • Yes and no, the concept of race changes from place to place. For example I have family members that some might conciser "Hispanic", some Asian, and some white/passing, Trinidadians are very mixed, a kid that looks white can come from 2 dark parents. So I guess I mean if they looked more "white" or more Asian but not "black".

  • then i wouldnt say that. Because Asians, hal hispanics, etc were never part of the vaudville bamboozlery scene in america, as well they wernt posterized with big lips smacking down chicken and watermelon. Thats an SPECIFIC AFRICAN AMERICAN experience that conjures up those times.

  • Yeah, I hate those old movies, but its sad because avoiding stereotypes encourage people to change themselves for people who think less of you anyway. Look at little kim, she was cute brown dark haired skinned woman at one time, now she looks like a MJ clone (r.i.p). Why? because she change herself to be more acceptable in her mind.

  • LOL, I just realize your wrote SPECIFIC AFRICAN AMERICAN in bold, dont be vex with me, just talking. Im dark and consider myself black/ AFRICAN AMERICAN, but I've bin to may places Brazil, Uk, France, Canada, and where there is a strong shame of being perceived a certain way because they're black I've seen depression. And there are studies that show lower test scores and failure to thrive among blacks in the diaspora where this thinking is prevalent. That's all I'm really saying. Much respect.

  • Who produced this, the Klan?

  • No, I rather see someone dancing with chicken than 50 cent dancing with his gun.

  • I can see how you may say that. But both can be equally destructive, or not. When i see black folks dancing for chicken, its scary bad. For me, It brings on bad images from an ameircan history standpoint. Perhaps this doesnt translate in other countries. Where as marketing guy in trindad is only thinking, hey lets make a jingle for KFC , what music do people like....its all perspective, thats all im saying.

  • Only in the US is a person of African decent eating chicken considered racist.

  • In other countries people tend to communicate with each other better so that stereotypes don't flourish.

In the US we pretend not to have racist thought but do and nothing gets solved. That's why you see black people dancing like slaves instead of it being just a commercial.

  • Hey in the states we can not get fries there.

  • Nice video I like it

  • Cool

  • Triniz ah Tell yuh!!!

    lol

  • LMFAOO

    that was funny.

    dem corn can wine, =)

  • I DONT SURE ANYMORE.. IF I WANT CORN OR COLE SLAW..... ah love it

  • Hmm That corn really trowin' waist

  • lmao that is my fav KFC Advert!!!!!!
