  • Its refreshing to see a horse and rider combination where they both love what they do. Every horse I have see this gentleman ride has been exceptionally responsive and happy to preform. Well done!

  • yea not exactually his best performance! but he is an amazing rider! i would like to have a fresian horse for dressage but i have an 11 year old Halflinger horse and well she hasnt even mastered the first level of dressage!

  • Given that this test is pretty much the same as his later test on BHM... and she yields across the arena there, it's just my guess. We will have to track him down and ask him! :p

  • Fabulous! I own a stallion out of Hochadel. Dam out of Don Primero. I live in Canada and hope that with the fabulous trainer this is how he will be ridden. He is just turning 4 in April 09. Julie

  • I love this video. I especially love it because there is a total melt-down towards the end of the test, and yet horse and rider emerge confident and smiling!

    Schufro's walk and canter blow Matine's away, but he has some weird hitches in his passage & piaffe, while hers are beyond reproach.

    Funny, it seems like Matine has a lot more balls(!)and self-confidence; Schufro is wonderful and talented and tentative. I wish he could have been bold enough to get an individual Olympic medal.

  • Matine is an awesome mare.. Without a doubt...But Don Schufro is by far more consistent (obviously not here) and the quality of his gaits blows hers out of the water.. I suggest checking out some of his other videos

  • I don't like the music, I don't no why but I don't like it.

    The choreographic looks like the same ,that he ride with matiné. Only now he's riding in a different way, correct me when i'm wrong.

    But he can ride and his horse is so beautiful.

    But nothing above Matiné.

  • Ah Blu Hors Matine is the most beautiful and graceful mare I have ever seen. This big old boy horse is not near as graceful as that little lady, but he his still splendid none the less. Andrea is just as splendid to watch as well, the handsome devil!

  • Yes he is from Denmark. (me too) Andreas had just won Dm Againg on a third horse. Do not remenber the name of it. Andreas is a great rider, he can ride everything. He has won DM 3 time (i think) and on three different horses. That is a good rider. And Blue Hors Don Schufro is a great horse too.

  • do you know " Command Performance?" He was an appaloosa/quarter horse gelding who went grand prix? (I think) - ridden by tanya vik and did really well. His stable name was Mouse. Great horse - keep working with yours...

  • Is it just me or is he a bit slow on the transitions with the music sometimes? Occasionally he started another movement just before or after the music started... Nice horse though!
