I don't know about Series as a whole (haven't played iv v and tactics but III sucked BAAAAAAALLLS). The first Suikoden had the best soundtrack of any video game

Definitely I and II of the series were awesome and not just the soundtrack.V tries to be like those two and does a really good job, 4 is easily the worst of the bunch and III was actually very enjoyable. So none of the series really sucked baaaaaaaalls.That's why it's my favourite.BoF series has V which definitely sucks baaaaalls.
